This study has been designed to analyze the tendency of the studies which are related with cosmetology education by understanding the published years, types of publishing, and subjects and methods of study. Firstly, studies related with cosmetology education are published most frequently during 2010 to February 2014. Among 85 published studies, 54 are theses and 31 are journal articles. In terms of the method of the study, survey is the most frequently used one (50 times), documentary searching is the second most, and experiment research is the third (8 times). Considering the subject of studies, students take the biggest portion (43 times), open sources are the second biggest (16 times), and mixed subjects order (9 times). In terms of the theme of the study, satisfaction and demand for the curriculum is treated most (30 times), curriculum analysis is the second most (19 times), and teaching-leaning method and evaluation takes third place (18 times). Secondly, according to the theme of the study, there is a significant difference between the method of study and the subject of study. Through this study, tendency of the cosmetology education studies has been possibly assessed, and an increasing number of a thesis and an article proves that related studies are needed to be conducted.
