In this paper, we have studied about the optimum fabrication condition of the printed Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) layers for the electrical resistance-type sensor application. We have investigated on the substrates surface treatments, mixing ratio of organic binder/ITO powder, and viscosity of the printing paste to determine the optimum condition of the screen printed ITO layer. Also, we found that the printing condition is closely related with the sensor performance. To know the feasibility of printed ITO layer as an electrical resistance-type sensor, we have fabricated the ITO sensors with a printed and sputtered ITO layers. The printed ITO films revealed $10^2$ times higher sensitivity than the sputtered ITO layer. Also, the sputtered ITO layer exhibited an operating temperature of $127^{\circ}C$ at the operating voltage of 5 V. While, in case of the printed ITO layer showed the operating temperature of $27.6^{\circ}C$ in high operating voltage of 30 V. We found that the printed ITO layer is suitable for the various sensor applications.
가솔린 및 LPG 연료를 사용하는 직접분사식 불꽃점화엔진에서 배출되는 극미세입자 배출 특성에 관한 연구

In this study, the numbers, sizes of particles from a single cylinder direct injection spark-ignition (DISI) engine fuelled with gasoline and LPG are examined over a wide range of engine operating conditions. Tests are conducted with various engine loads (2~10bar of IMEP) and fuel injection pressures (60, 90, and 120 bar) at the engine speed of 1,500 rpm. Particles are sampled directly from the exhaust pipe using rotating disk thermodiluter. The size distributions are measured using a scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS) and the particle number concentrations are measured using a condensation particle counter (CPC). The total particle number concentration for LPG was lower by a factor of 100 compared to the results of gasoline emission due to the good vaporization characteristic of LPG. Test result presents that LPG for direct injection spark ignition engine help the particle emission level to reduce.
차량 추적 실험을 통하여 디젤 후처리 장치가 입자상 물질 배출에 미치는 영향 파악

To measure the traffic pollutants with high temporal and spatial resolution under real conditions, a mobile emission laboratory (MEL) was designed. The equipment of the mini-van provides gas phase measurements of CO, NOx, CO₂, THC (Total hydrocarbon) and number density & size distribution measurements of fine and ultra-fine particles by a fast mobility particle sizer (FMPS) and a condensation particle counter (CPC). The inlet sampling port above the bumper enables the chasing of different type of vehicles. This paper introduces the technical details of the MEL and presents data from the car chasing experiment of diesel bus equipped with aftertreatment system. The dilution ratio was calculated by the ratio of ambient NOx and tail-pipe NOx. Most particles from the diesel bus were counted under 300 ㎚ and the peak concentration of the particles was located between 60 ㎚. The total PM number emission from diesel bus equipped with DPF was 10 orders of magnitude lower compared to those emitted from base diesel bus.
