        몽골불교의 재 발전

        ( Samdan ) 사단법인 한국교수불자연합회 2011 한국교수불자연합학회지 Vol.17 No.2

Today Mongolia is a Central Asian country with modern democracy that successfully combines a centuries-old statehood and nomadic culture with the forms of contemporary urban development. This year my country is celebrating the 2220th anniversary of the foundation of the Great Huns (Xiangnu) State on the ancient soil of Mongolia. Buddhism has been and still is a significant part of the over 2000-year old history of Mongolian state. To beprecise, we have written historical evidences that the ancient Huns used to have gold-plated Buddha statues as an object of their worshipping. This is a prove that the ancient nomads of Central Asia were interested in and used to worship Buddhism. Secondly, this proves that the roots of Mongolian statehood dates back to thatancient time. Therefore, it is well-established and recognized that the Mongolian history and Buddhism have close ties that had emerged over 2000 years ago. Along the centuries-long tough historical path these ties and connections had faced the times of flourishing and fading and reached today, the 21st century.

Vol.9 No.3

Purpose – Due to the increase in coffee consumption and competition, domestic coffee franchise companies are currently entering the overseas market. Therefore, coffee franchise companies are pursuing a variety of marketing strategies to meet customer needs and gain competitive advantage in overseas markets. From this perspective, overseas franchise companies need to ensure that their servicescapes meet the needs of their overseas customers. For these purposes, the study is to identify the impact servicescapes on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty focused on Global Coffee Franchise Company “C”, which extended its business worldwide in Mongolia. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from customers who had visited the stores of ‘C’ company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 435 valid questionnaires collected through online survey coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 24 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result – Firstly, seating comfort, facility aesthetics, and cleanliness, ambient conditions among servicescapes influenced customer satisfaction. Secondly, servicescapes didn’t affect the loyalty directly. Third, customer satisfaction had positive effect on loyalty. Fourthly, cleanliness which was ranked lower in Korea had a great effect on customer satisfaction in Mongolia. Fifthly, IPMA(Importance-performance map analysis) shows that the importance of servicescapes is higher for women than for men, and facility aesthetics for female and cleanliness is the most important for male. Conclusions - The results of this study show that there is a positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction in order of cleanliness, ambient conditions, aesthetics, and seating comfort. Therefore, franchise companies considering or advancing into Mongolia should consider importance in order of cleanliness, ambient conditions and aesthetics when entering Mongolia market. For example, franchise managers should select Monday as a "clean day," and all merchants should spend all of their open hours and keep their stores clean in accordance with the head office manual. In addition, franchise managers need to hire a VMD (visual merchandising) experts to build up a physical environment that will effectively highlight the space-specific display of the store so that Mongolian local customers can have a satisfactory climate and aesthetics. And, the IMPA analysis between servicescapes and customer satisfaction shows that women are more susceptible to servicescapes than men. Especially, in the case of women, the importance of esthetics is high, but the performance is low. Thus, if the aesthetics are actively improved, customer satisfaction can be effectively increased.

Human migration is one of the global phenomena of modern globalized world. This phenomenon is a popular research subject for scientists from different backgrounds including demography, history, sociology, economics and other social sciences. Migration had an undeniable impact on collapse of civilizations and emergence of another ones, fall of empires and rise of nation states, demise and birth of various religions and religious ideologies in human history. It can been seen in Mongolian history as well. In 13th century, the process of annexing and unifying numerous countries of vast Eurasian continent by Mongol Empire, has left deep imprint on global economic and cultural exchange. The last 25 years spanning over two centuries have been a period of intense transformation in Mongolian society. This transformation has led to sharp increase in internal and external migration in Mongolia. The changes in the Mongolian culture can be seen in the changes of lifestyle and norms of life of Mongolians. Without a doubt the migration played significant role in the transformation of Mongolian society from a traditional society to a multicultural society. One of the signs of this transformation is the process of transforming to a multi-religious society. Being curious, being attracted to, and to imitating all things foreign are common occurrences when a closed society collapses. Mongolians showing interest in foreign religions and cultures is a clear example of this phenomenon. The non-traditional religions are attempting to gain a foothold in Mongolia following this interest. The migration was one of the driving forces behind the introduction of Christianity and non-traditional new religions.

        Narantuya,Samdan,Lee Joung-Ill 한국자원식물학회 2005 한국자원식물학회 학술심포지엄 Vol.2005 No.-

Utilization of herbal medicine has been an intrinsic part of Philippine culture for many centuries. In spite of tremendous development in the field of modern medicine, traditional and alternative medicine will continue to flourish and take an important role in meeting the basic health needs of the people. The National Integrated Research Program on Medicinal Plant (NIRPROMP), the lead government institution for herbal medicinal research had already validated ten medicinal plants and is currently studying new batch of medicinal plants. Five of the ten clinically-tested medicinal plants have been elevated to herbal medicinal drugs that are now being commercially manufactured in the different parts of the country. Research on medicinal plants takes longer time as the nature of medical research dictates it to be. It must adhere to the internationally accepted standards of medicinal research in the Philippines was observed making alternative medicine an effective health delivery system to the people.

Molecular identification of oriental medicinal plant Schizonepeta tenuifolia bunge (Hyung-Gae) by multiplex PCR

        Jigden, Baigalmaa,Wang, Hongtao,Kim, Yeon-Ju,Samdan, Narantuya,In, Jun-Gyo,Yang, Deok-Chun The Korean Society of Plant Biotechnology 2010 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.4 No.3

Schizonepeta tenuifolia (Korean name "Hyung- Gae") is an oriental medicinal plant that is widely used in Korea, China and Japan. S. tenuifolia (Hyung-Gae) has many pharmacological activities and is mostly used for many medicinal preparations. The dried aerial part (spikes and stems) of three oriental medicinal plants, S. tenuifolia (Hyung-Gae), Agastache rugosa (Kwhak-Hyang) and Elsholtzia ciliata (Hyang-Yoo) belonging to the same family, mint family Labiaceae, have such similar shape and smell that it is difficult to differentiate between them. The trnL-F regions of chloroplast DNA of the three medicinal plants were sequenced and used as targets in multiplex PCR reaction to identify S. tenuifolia. After alignment of trnL-F sequences of the authenticated plant samples, one single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) specific to S. tenuifolia was found. Based on this SNP, a new primer was designed that specifically amplifies the trnL-F region of S. tenuifolia. The established multiplex-PCR was proven to be effective in the differentiation of commercial S. tenuifolia samples from A. rugosa and E. ciliata. This rapid and accurate molecular method is highly promising for use in the food industry.

Protopine reduces the inflammatory activity of Lipopolysaccharide-stimulated murine macrophages

( Deok Sung Bae ),( Young Hoon Kim ),( Cheol Ho Pan ),( Chu Won Nho ),( Javzan Samdan ),( Jamyansan Yansan ),( Jae Kwon Lee ) 생화학분자생물학회 (구 한국생화학분자생물학회) 2012 BMB Reports Vol.45 No.2

Protopine is an isoquinoline alkaloid contained in plants in northeast Asia. In this study, we investigated whether protopine derived from Hypecoum erectum L could suppress lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammatory responses in murine macrophages (Raw 264.7 cells). Protopine was found to reduce nitric oxide (NO), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production by LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells, without a cytotoxic effect. Pre-treatment of Raw 264.7 cells with protopine reduced the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. These inhibitory effects were caused by blocking phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAP kinases) and also blocking activation of a nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB). [BMB reports 2012; 45(2): 108-113].
