The reduction of the time and resources spent inspecting product is critical to the success of Company L's continued resourcing efforts. The use of Mil-Std and other sampling plans with acceptance numbers greater than zero usually results in increased inspection sizes and potential for controversy in inspection results between inspectors. The time and resources used to complete these outgoing inspections are directly related to the amount of product currently required to be inspected in order to determine the acceptance or rejection of a lot of finished goods. This paper proposes a new sampling policy that will allow Company L to reduce the size of outgoing inspections. The data used in the paper are from 2006 to 2007. It is a combination of Overseas Inspection reports from all suppliers as well as sales volumes for products sold to Company L's partner companies. There are currently over 80 suppliers that manufacture products for Company L. The major finding of this paper is that it is possible to reduce inspection size while still maintaining, or in most cases reducing, the risks associated with sample inspections. This will be accomplished by switching from the current Mil-Std plan to a Zero acceptance number sampling plan.

The aim of this study is to provide a clear and accessible method to obtain accurate true-stress strain data, and to extend the limited material data beyond the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) for AISI 304L. AISI 304L is used for the outer construction for some types of nuclear transport packages, due to its postyield ductility and high failure strain. Material data for AISI 304L beyond UTS is limited throughout literature. 3D digital image correlation (DIC) was used during a series of uniaxial tensile experiments. Direct method extracted data such as true strain and instantaneous cross-sectional area throughout testing such that the true stress-strain response of the material up to failure could be created. Post processing of the DIC data has a considerable effect on the accuracy of the true stress-strain data produced. Influence of subset size and smoothing of data was investigated by using finite element analysis to inverse model the force displacement response in order to determine the true stress strain curve. The FE force displacement response was iteratively adapted, using subset size and smoothing of the DIC data. Results were validated by matching the force displacement response for the FE model and the experimental force displacement curve
Array Antenna Design for Ku-Band Terminal of L.E.O Satellite Communication

This study is a Ku-band array antenna for the manufacture of low-orbit satellite communication terminals, designed to have miniaturization, high gain, and wide beam width. The transmission of low-orbit satellite communication has a right-rotating circularly polarized wave, and the reception has a left-rotating circularly polarized wave. The 4×8 array antenna was separated for transmission and reception, and it was combined with the RF circuit part of the transmitter and receiver, and was terminated in the form of a waveguide for RF signal impedance matching in the form of a transition from the microstrip line to the waveguide. The 30° beam width of the receiver maximum gain of 19 dBi and the 29° beam width of the transmitter maximum gain of 18 dBi are shown. Through this antenna configuration, the system was configured to suit the low-orbit satellite transmission/reception characteristics.
The impact of the hope growing account program on participants’ economic well-being in South Korea

In 2010, the Korean government introduced the Hope Growing Account (Hope) program. The Hope program combines elements of a social assistance scheme (monthly income grants) with matched funds for savings to encourage the working poor to increase income and build assets. This longitudinal study estimated changes in household economic well-being among 895 low-income households who participated in Hope between 2010 and 2012. Economic well-being was measured by changes in household monthly income and income-to-needs ratio. The adjusted difference- in-differences estimation revealed that the impact of Hope varied over household income distributions: lower income households were more likely to increase their monthly earned income and income-to-needs ratio compared to demographically similar non-participants, while higher income households were less likely to increase their income and income-to-needs ratio. We describe how future research is needed to better understand how the Hope program impacts household assets and behavioral changes in the long run.

통방융합서비스가 가시화되면서 성능이 더욱 우수한 안테나 모델을 개발하기 위해 다양한 기술적 접근이 시도되고 있다. 본 논문은 핸드폰에 부착할 수 있고, 통방융합용에 적용할 수 있는 소형모바일 안테나를 제안한다. 모바일 핸드셑용 안테나 설계에서, 크기축소는 중요한 요소 중의 하나이며, 루프안테나의 소형화는 접어진 다이폴을 굽힘으로서 실현된다. 짧은 평면 다이폴은 더 큰 입력저항을 만들기 위해 두 배의 접어진 다이폴과 루프안테나로 변환된다. 그 안테나의 전류분포는 루프 안테나와 같고, 방사패턴은 전방향 특성을 갖는다. 또한 전기광학효과 맵핑 시스템을 이용하여 전류유기 근거리장 방사패턴에 의해 RFID안테나의 성능을 분석한다.
