How Do Green Investment, Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, and Social Collaborative Initiatives Drive Firm’s Distribution Performance?

        Widiatmaka F PAMBUDI,Wahdiana DIAN,Suherman,Samodro Bintang A,M LEONARDUS,Sukrisno 한국유통과학회 2022 유통과학연구 Vol.20 No.4

Purposes: The purpose of this study is to develop and test a possible model that investigates the relationships between green investment, CSR disclosure, social collaboration initiatives, and firm distribution performance to deal with environmental change because it’s become the major stakeholder since it affects increasingly global company performance index. Research methodology: In this study a quantitative method was adopted. The 220 respondents were owners and managers of manufacturing enterprises from Indonesia. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the hypotheses, and the Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) was used as the data analysis tool. Findings: The study’s finding shows that green investment has a significant effect on CSR disclosure, and CSR disclosure has a positive relationship with social collaborative initiatives and the firm’s distribution performance. Similarly, social collaborative initiatives also significantly impact a firm’s distribution performance. Limitations: This study uses variables that are still abstract and have not been able to regress the dimensions contained there into conclusion variables for each antecedent variable. In addition, this study only used a sample with a small scope, namely Central Java Province, Indonesia. Contribution: The findings of this study contribute to the body of literature in the field of organizational management and support the agency and stakeholder theories. For the practical contribution, this study provides the way to build and implement green-based investment strategies as a competitive edge and improve firm’s distribution performance.

Shifted Time Reversal Technique for Two-user Wireless Communication Using Variable Rate Back-off

We studied the performance of a two-user time reversal multiple input single output scheme combined with the shifted transmission technique in a variable rate back-off scenario, called shifted time reversal (TR), that minimizes both intersymbol interference and multiuser interference. We compare the bit error rate performance of the shifted TR scheme to both full-rate TR and full back-off TR schemes and demonstrate its superiority to shifted zero forcing scheme when the guard interval is larger than one.

Port performance factors and their interactions: A systems thinking approach

        Sunitiyoso Yos,Nuraeni Shimaditya,Pambudi Noorhan Firdaus,Inayati Tutik,Nurdayat Ilham Fadhil,Hadiansyah Fikri,Tiara Adhya Rare 한국해운물류학회 2022 The Asian journal of shipping and Logistics Vol.38 No.2

Indonesia’s inter-island movement of goods relies heavily on sea transportation because it can transport large volumes of goods at a reasonable cost. However, it is challenging to meet the same pricing standards everywhere, particularly for regions located far from the production centres. The government initiated the Motorways of the Sea Program to tackle this issue. Stakeholders in Indonesia’s maritime logistics should be involved in the implementation processes, including the port operators, the shipping industry, and the government as a regulator and infrastructure enabler. However, the democratic, decentralised, and pluralistic nature of Indonesia’s government, culture, and bureaucracy has challenged the implementation of the Motorways of the Sea Program. Based on a systematic map of each stakeholder’s interests, barriers, and expectations, the study used a systems thinking approach to capture the interactions among stakeholders’ activities and policies in the maritime logistics system. A causal loop diagram and a stock and flow diagram were developed to provide a holistic view of the system. Several systemic forces that became the leverages of the system’s performance were identified. The most important factors are infrastructure development, both physical and non-physical infrastructures that include information and communication technology, service procedures, and human capital supporting the service system. © 2022 The Authors. Do Real Interest Rate, Gross Domestic Savings and Net Exports Matter in Economic Growth? Evidence from Indonesia

Agus Eko SUJIANTO,Pribawa E. PANTAS,Mashudi MASHUDI,Dwi Santosa PAMBUDI,Bagus Shandy NARMADITYA 한국유통과학회 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.11

This study aims to measure the effects of real interest rate (RIR), gross domestic savings (GDS), and net exports (EN) shocks on Indonesia’s economic growth (EG). The focus on Indonesia is unique due to the abundant resources available in the nation, but they are unsuccessful in boosting economic growth. This study applied a quantitative method to comprehensively analyze the correlation between variables by employing Vector Autoregression Model (VAR) combined with Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Various procedures are preformed: Augmented Dickey–Fuller test (ADF), Optimum Lag Test, Johansen Cointegration Test, Granger Causality Test, as well as Impulse Response Function (IRF) and Error Variance Decomposition Analysis (FEVD). The data were collected from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank from 1986 to 2017. The findings of the study indicated that economic growth responded positively to real interest rate shocks, which implies that when the real interest rate experiences a shock (increase), the economy will be inclined to growth. While, economic growth responded negatively to gross domestic savings and net export shocks. Policymakers are expected to consider several matters, particularly the economic conditions at the time of formulating policy, so that the prediction effectiveness of a policy can be appropriately assessed.

Identifying Driving Factors of Technological Innovation to Create Sustainable Value in Metal Manufacturing SMEs

Ni Luh Putu Hariastuti,Pratikto,Purnomo Budi Santoso,Ishardita Pambudi Tama 대한산업공학회 2022 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.21 No.1

One of the keys to the company’s success in achieving sustainability is the application of technological innovation. Technological innovation plays a crucial role in creating manufacturing values and excellence. It is necessary to understand what are the key drivers of implementing technological innovations that can support the achievement of competitive advantage and sustainability in manufacturing companies, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). With all the limited capacities and resources, technological innovation becomes challenging for SMEs, especially to deal with dynamics and uncertainties in the business environment. This study aims to determine the key drivers of the application of technological innovation in manufacturing SMEs to support the achievement of sustainable competitive advantage. The case study was conducted in metal manufacturing SMEs in Indonesia. This study uses Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) in determining the contextual relationship between the identified key drivers. Based on the results, it is known that among the eleven key drivers, three drivers belong to the dependent cluster, four belong to the linkage cluster, and the rests belong to the independent cluster. In addition, the results of this study show that factors related to management support and commitment, government regulations, collaborative support, as well as the application of artificial intelligence, are the main key drivers that need to be prioritized for the successful application of technological innovation towards sustainability. The findings of this study are intended to assist managers and practitioners, especially those engaged in metal manufacturing SMEs, to develop a strategic plan for creating sustainable manufacturing values, in the context of technological innovation.
