      • Les avancées de la loi du 27 juin 1990 et de la loi du 4 mars 2002 en matière de législation psychiatrique française

PENY, Christine EWHA INSTITUTE FOR BIOMEDICAL LAW & ETHICS 2009 BIOMEDICAL LAW & ETHICS Vol.3 No.1

Adopted on June 27th 1990, the "loi Evin" replaced the famous "loi Esquirol" of 1838, the old text which ruled the French legislation concerning mental illness. The law carried unanimously in 1990 was supposed to "revolutionize" French psychiatric legislation. In fact, it did not so and confirmed many principles going back to 1838. But on one point the text introduced a real and interesting innovation: it recognized specific rights to the persons placed in psychiatric institutions. On this point precisely, it was confirmed and completed by an other text, a law of March 4th 2002. Nevertheless, not all the rights established by theses two acts seem very realistic and it is sometimes difficult to make them respected, especially in the absence of an enforcement by the courts of judicial order.

      • Le droit et les institutions de l’insanité d’esprit en France sous l’Ancien Régime

Christine Peny Ewha Institute for Biomedical Law & Ethics 2008 BIOMEDICAL LAW & ETHICS Vol.2 No.2

During the last two centuries of the Ancien Regime, medicine and the monarchistic state progressively increased their hold over the law and institutions dedicated to insane people. Whereas at the beginning of the XVII^(th) century, families and charity institutions were still the main supports of mad people, on the eve of Revolution, most mentally sick persons were locked up and taken care of on "public powers" initiative. Allied to the "medical power", the absolute monarchy developed a kind of social assistance specifically intended for insane people, while their legal status tended to be standardized. The principles and practices established by the "Esquirol law" of June 30th 1838 already existed at the end of the Ancien Regime.

      • Application of Amalytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) on Market Apeal Evaluation-Case Stduy of Archeological Sites in Eastern Serbia

        Dr. Tatjana Pivac,MSc Tamara Tanasić,Mr. Igor Stamenković,Dr. Ivana Bleš,ić,MSc MSc Miriana Penić 한국문화관광학회 2021 문화관광연구 Vol.23 No.2

One way of promoting Eastern Serbia’s archeological heritage is to develop a number of connected sites as a cultural route. This paper discusses the application of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) on market appeal matrix with the purpose of assessing the potential for archaeological tourism development in the region of Eastern Serbia. Ten relevant criteria were proposed and were indicated for several of the most attractive archaeological sites in Eastern Serbia (Viminacium, Lepenski Vir, the Roman castrum of Pontes, Iustiniana Prima or “Empress’s Town”, Mediana and Felix Romuliana) and were analysed by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Preliminary results indicate that the most relevant criteria are important national symbols and the least important appeal for special needs indicator. Lepenski Vir has the highest market appeal, followed by Felix Romuliana, Viminacium, Mediana, and the least market appeal has the Roman castrum of Pontes.

      • Creation of a New Tourism Product: Thematic Routes ‘Along the Beer Roads in the Vojvodina Province, Serbia

PhD Ivan a Bleš,ić,PhD Tatjana Pivac,MSc Tamara Tanasić,Mr. Igor Stamenković,MSc Mirjana Penić 세계문화관광학회 2021 International Journal of Culture and tourism Resea Vol.14 No.1

Autonomus Province of Vojvodina has a significant potentials for the development of thematic routes of beer. Beer tourism is becoming increasingly popular among tourists of various ages and many countries due to this form of tourism movement have created there own distinctive brand and enviable position on the market. By combining of traditional practices of production, distribution and consumption with tourist activities such are: visits, tasting and sales and other attractiveness in the Vojvodina Province, one can create a new and high-quality tourism product. This paper presents two examples of potential beer roads, which are paired up with the attractiveness of the area through which they’re passes and also listed some examples of popular cultural routes in the world. There are the characteristics and description of the routes area and breweries that could create a tourism product in Vojvodina. The research involved examination of potential stakeholders who would love to participate in this routes, and the reasons why they would choose it. Most of the respondents, as reasons why they are appealing this route, said: they want to meet new friends, spend time with beer consumers, taste beer and to become more familiar with modern production technology. Based on the results of the survey it can be concluded that the beer route is very appealing and attractive because there is a large number of potencial stakeholders. Moreover, the younger population is interested in participating in thematic routes, but they would also like to visit and the other natural and cultural attractions of Vojvodina. Following the current trends in the tourism industry, these routes could be a generator of business development and growth of prosperity of the population in Vojvodina. As well as, they could merge a tradition and the present, the story of beer’s production, beer festivals or visits to breweries and beer museums.

Motivational Factors of Implementing Corporate Social and Environmental Reporting and Its Impact on Performance

INDRASARI, Arum,NUGRAHENI, Peni,HAMZAH, Noradiva,MAELAH, Ruhanita Korea Distribution Science Association 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.2

The issue of environmental crisis encourages companies to develop strategies and programs which incorporate social and environmental considerations into their processes. The objectives of this study are to identify the strategies used in implementing corporate social and environmental reporting (CSER) and to investigate the impact of these strategies on organization performance. This study uses as its sample companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and engaged in environmentally sensitive business activities and applies content analysis to their annual reports. The data used in the study is secondary data in the form of annual and sustainability reports of companies, and primary data in the form of interviews. The results show that companies use both reactive and proactive strategies in reporting their social and environmental activities. The study also identifies the impacts of such reporting on both the financial and non-financial performances of the investigated companies. The study contributes to the social and environmental accounting literature by exploring the motivations and strategies of companies in their CSER. The empirical results will provide important insights into the influence of the strategies employed by companies in their corporate social and environmental reporting and the impacts of such strategies on organizational performance.

Sequential Sacral Insufficiency Fracture After Unilateral Pubic Fractures - A Case Report -

        박경순,윤태림,이동현,Indra Peni 대한골대사학회 2012 대한골대사학회지 Vol.19 No.1

Osteoporotic fractures of the pelvic ring are not uncommon and among them sacral insufficiency fractures (SIFs) are often overlooked in patients with buttock or low back pain following no or minimal trauma, which results in diagnostic delays. SIFs are often bilateral and are commonly associated with other fractures - most frequently with a pubic ramus fracture. However, it remains unclear which fracture (sacral or pubic ramus) occurs first, and the only report on the subject found that the fracture sequence is initiated by a sacral fracture. The authors describe a case of sequential bilateral SIFs in a 74-year old woman following superior and inferior pubic rami fractures on one side. In conclusion we suggested that SIFs can occur after pelvic ring injury in any side because biomechanical disruption of the pelvic ring can induce the sacral fracture in patients with severe osteoporosis.

Association of selected gene polymorphisms with thermotolerance traits in cattle - A review

Hariyono, Dwi Nur Happy,Prihandini, Peni Wahyu Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2022 Animal Bioscience Vol.35 No.11

Thermal stress due to extreme changes in the thermal environment is a critical issue in cattle production. Many previous findings have shown a decrease in feed intake, milk yield, growth rate, and reproductive efficiency of cattle when subjected to thermal stress. Therefore, selecting thermo-tolerant animals is the primary goal of the efficiency of breeding programs to reduce those adverse impacts. The recent advances in molecular genetics have provided significant breeding advantages that allow the identification of molecular markers in both beef and dairy cattle breeding, including marker-assisted selection (MAS) as a tool in selecting superior thermo-tolerant animals. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), which can be detected by DNA sequencing, are desirable DNA markers for MAS due to their abundance in the genome's coding and non-coding regions. Many SNPs in some genes (e.g., HSP70, HSP90, HSF1, EIF2AK4, HSBP1, HSPB8, HSPB7, MYO1A, and ATP1A1) in various breeds of cattle have been analyzed to play key roles in many cellular activities during thermal stress and protecting cells against stress, making them potential candidate genes for molecular markers of thermotolerance. This review highlights the associations of SNPs within these genes with thermotolerance traits (e.g., blood biochemistry and physiological responses) and suggests their potential use as MAS in thermotolerant cattle breeding.
