Being adopted the Cellular Systems in Korea, the method of a radio repeater is that the mobile station(MS) can be used only in a service area of the base station(BS). In case that traffic congestion is occured around the specific BS because of an event etc., the traffic blocking rates are being maximized and the subscriber service is being dropped. To improve these problems, we propose an algorithm for a radio repeater network that distributes the traffics of the specific BS, predicted traffic congestion, to an adjacent BS by sharing a service area. And then, we confirm the valid through the simulation.

To predict accurately an antenna radiation pattern is very important for determining of a service area, base-station location, cell design. In this paper, we have calculated a propagation prediction data of Hata, Egri, Carey, Free Space Loss model by a computer simulation in Kwang-ju downtown, and the data is compared with field test data. As a results, Hata and Egri model are approached to field test data, but considerable errors are detected.Conclusively, we believe that the most accurate prediction model must propose to improve the radio propagation environments for the specified region. For resolve these problems, we are proposed a mew experimental radio wave propagation predict model.
Planning of Gap Filler Networks in Satellite DMB Systems for Wireless Multimedia Services

Satellite digital multimedia broadcasting (S-DMB) systems use gap fillers (GFs) to provide wireless multimedia services to non-line-of-sight locations. GFs act as repeaters, and S-DMB systems require GF networks in order to guarantee mobile reception. Each GF covers a cell or sector. In order to provide contiguous coverage of an area comprising two or more cells or sectors, multiple GFs are needed. However, when multiple GFs are situated close to each other, interference is likely to occur. As a result, in this study, we have investigated system-level environments for planning the design of interference-free GF networks in S-DMB systems. Our investigations revealed that S-DMB services are unavailable because of quality deterioration caused by interference when the delay attributable to a GF and the satellite signals exceeds ${\pm}$256 chips and the distance between the GF and its reception terminal is greater than 4.6 km. On the basis of this analysis, we conducted a field test that confirmed that the above-mentioned time delay can be controlled in such a way as to ensure high quality S-DMB services.

With the commercialization of CDMA 2000-1x late in 2000, a high-speed wireless Internet, based on a mobile communication networks, appeared in Korea. This will develop into the next-generation of mobile communications(4G) in the future and the new cell layout will be required the cellular configuration of 4G. We would need the legislation with respect to base-stations and to building the mobile communication networks, as well as the optimization of mobile communication systems. In this study, in order to provide 4G, I examined and analyzed that the current laws & regulations related to licensing and operating a mobile communication base-stations in KOREA.
단락형 스터브를 이용한 이중모드 공진기의 필터 응용을 위한 수식적 해석

본 논문에서는 이중모드 공진기를 필터로 활용하기 위해 단락형 스터브로 구현되는 이중모드 공진기에 대해 인버터 값 및 특성을 수식적으로 해석하였다. 인버터 값은 공진기와 단락형 스터브의 임피던스 및 전기적 길이의 함수로 주어지며, 각각 제곱근의 함수로 비례 증가하는 특성을 가진다. 또한, 공진기의 임피던스 및 리플이 증가할수록 인버터 값이 감소하는 특성을 보였다. 필터의 대역폭은 리플의 크기 및 임피던스 비에 따라 증가하였다. 또한, 설계 임피던스에 따라 필터의 중심주파수가 이동되는 것을 확인하였다. 계산식의 확인을 위해 공진기와 스터브의 임피던스를 각각 70.7Ω, 56.56Ω으로 하여 인버터 값을 계산하고 중심주파수 이동 특성을 반영하여 필터를 설계하는 예를 제시하였다. In this paper, the value of inverter and the characteristics of the dual-mode resonator with the shunt-stub are analyzed and calculated. The value of inverter is function of the impedances and electrical lengths of the resonator and shunt-stub. According to suggested equation, the value of inverter is increased for the square root function. And the value of inverter is decreased as higher impedance of resonator and higher ripple. The bandwidth of the filter is increased as the ripple and the impedance ratio. Also, the center frequency of the filter is shifted as designed impedance. In order to show the designed method, the filter with the resonator’s and stub’s impedances of 70.7Ω and 56.56Ω, respectively, is suggested by example.
