유능수 江原大學校 産業技術硏究所 1997 産業技術硏究 Vol.17 No.-

The computation of the flow around a supercritical airfoil with a divergent trailing edge(DTE) modification(DLBA 243) is compared to that of original supercritical airfoil(DLBA 186). For this computation, Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes wquations are solved with a linearized block implicit ADI method and a mixing length turbulence model. Results show the effects of the shock and separated flow regions on drag reduction due to DTE modification. Results also show that DTE modification accelerates the boundary layer flow nea the trailing edged which has an effect similar to a chordwise extension that increases circulation and is consistent with the calculated increase in the recirculation region in the wake. Airfoil with DTE modification achieves the same lift coefficient at a lower incidence and thus at a lower drag coefficient, so that lift-to-drag ratio is increased in transonic cruise conditions compared to the original airfoil. The reduction in drag due to DTE modification is associated with weakening of shock strength and delay of shock which is greater than the increase in base drag.

아랍 주시(酒詩)의 발전과정에 관한 고찰 : 자힐리야 시대부터 이슬람력 2세기까지

        김능우 한국아랍어아랍문학회 2001 아랍어와 아랍문학 Vol.5 No.1

This paper aims at taking view of the development process of classical Arabic wine poetry during the period ranging from Jahiliy Age go A.H. 2nd century, in addition, it is from the cultural view point planned to search the background about Islam's prohibition of liquor for Moslems. Data of Arabic wine poems in Jahiliy Age shows that the Arabian men before Islamic Age enjoyed drinking wine, regarding it as symbol of manlihood and heroic temper. Through prohibited by religious doctrine in Islamic Age, wine has never been away from the Arab's minds which were thirsty for 'open hearts' and man's mental freedom During A.H. 1st-2nd century In Islamic Age, may wine poems have been composed by Arab poets, some of them such as al-Akht¸al, Abu Nuwas and al-Walid bn Yazid enjoyed for themselves drinking wine and expressed vividly the effects of drink in verses. Arabic wine poetry with the change of times has been undergone some developments in its form and contents. In most wine poems of Jahiliy Age the theme of wine has been used as one of thematic parts forming the framework of the poems. Therefore Jahiliy poets neither gave a full account of wine, nor expressed wine drinker's mental state, and their poems are limited to superficial observation and description of the external shapes of wine. Also Jahiliy poetry shows its limitations of development in that there are few wine verses delivering the poets' experiences of drink and the effects of drink in theirs mind. While Islamic Age witnessed appearance of many poets enjoying drink and expressing their mental state under the influence of drink. Among them, al-Akht¸al of Umayyah Age left poems concentrating on wine theme, conveying the romantic taste of drinkers, and his wine poems are characterized by refinement in description and expression. Khalifah of 'Abbas Dynasty, al-Walid bn Yazid's wine poems are peculiar in including his view of life that he pursues freedom, not bound by religious doctrine. His wine poems which extend narrative of wine to reflection on man's life are proof of the astonishing development of Arabic wine poetry. After al-Walid, Abu Nuwas was a luminary in wine poetry. Abu Nuwas who had inclination for urban life rather than for Bedouin life indulged in wine, seeking freedom of thinking and conduct through his life and in his wine poetry. He composed many wine poems in which he combined his disappointed love, his doubt about religious life and his profound knowledge of philosophy and religious doctrine. His wine poetry is not only excellent in rhetorical devices, but also is outstanding in dealing with diverse and interesting topics concerning wine. Moreover Abu Nuwas in his wine poems treated of subject of existentialism through his reflection on vanity in life and man's destiny.

        Gurney 플랲의 공기역학적 성능

        유능수,정성웅 江原大學校 産業技術硏究所 1998 産業技術硏究 Vol.18 No.-

A numerical investigation was performed to determine the effect of a Gurney flap on a NACA 23012 airfoil. A Navier-Stokes code. RAMPANT, was used to calculate the flow field about airfoil. The fully turbulent results were obtained using the standard k-ε two-equation turbulence model. To provide a check case for our computational method. computations were performed for NACA 4412 airfoil which compared with Wedcock's experimental data. Gurney flap sizes of 0.5,1.0, 1.5, and 2% of the airfoil chord were studied. The numerical solutions showed the Gurney flap increased both lift and drag. These results suggested that the Gurney flap served to increased the effective camber of the airfoil. But Gurney flap provided a significant increase in lift-to-drag ratio relatively at low angle of attack and for high lift coefficient. Also, it turned out that 0.5% chord size of flap was best one among them.

나왈 알-사으다위(Nawa ̄l al-Sada ̄wi ̄)의 페미니즘 고찰 : 두 편의 작품 분석을 중심으로 based on analysis of her two works

김능우 세계문학비교학회 2002 世界文學比較硏究 Vol.6 No.-

This thesis aims at studying the feminist features of Nawal al-Sadawi who is a prominent Egyptian writer, feminist, through analyzing her two works Memoirs of a Woman Doctor (1958) and Woman at Point Zero (1975). In Memoirs al-Sadawi exposes the irrationality of male authority society that despises and oppresses women. In addition, by portraying a woman with a tough spirit, armed with expert knowledge, al-Sadawi urges women to realize the fact, and to strive for recovery of their rights equal to men's. But Memoirs, which is her first novel is not characterized by the author's will to break down the male authority. Rather, it shows the author's idea in the early stage of feminism, which originates in love for humanity. Meanwhile, Point Zero, a work of seventies displays the development of al-Sadawi's radical feminism. In Point Zero the heroine as a prostitute is a model of Arab women who are oppressed and exploited by the male authority, driven to despair. The heroine's anger and disgust toward men extend to society which keeps the patriarchal values. She trys to obtain freedom and to converse the power relations by controlling her body. The act of killing one of men constitutes the climax of her struggle to gain control over herself. Al-Sadawi's these writings constitute a discourse of rebellion against patriarchy. Her criticism of women being regarded as sexual objects rather than human beings pervades these writings. Al-Sadawi has focuses on women's bodies, on sexuality, and their struggle to free themselves from the constraints of society.

      • Peter Eisenman 주택의 공간구조분석을 통한 설계언어의 비교연구

김능현 경주대학교 건설환경연구소 2003 建設環境論叢 Vol.- No.5

The paper examines what appear to be the rules of geometrical composition underlying the design of plan in eight well-known houses by Peter Eisenman. The effect of these compositional rules, tied to the design process of decomposition described by Eisenman, in the generation of spatial layout in these houses is then analysed using space syntax analysis. In particular, the effects of this design process in structuring the relationships, if any, between everyday living and private household functions, i.e. bedrooms, and the interface between inhabitants and visitors are examined. This is done in order to better understand the relationship, if any, between Eisenman's stated aims in own his theoretical writings about the design of these houses and the architectural object itself.

        바드르 샤키르 알-사이얍의 시 『江과 죽음』,『비의 讚歌』에 대한 비평적 고찰

        김능우 한국아랍어아랍문학회 2002 아랍어와 아랍문학 Vol.6 No.1

This paper aims at translating and understanding an Iraqi poet Badr Shakir al-Sayyab(1926-1964)'s two arabic poems 「al-Nahr wa al-Mawt(The River and Death)」and「'Unshudah al-Mat¸ar(Song of the Rain)」, which are considered of his best Tammuzian poems. In 「al-Nahr wa al-Mawt」al-Sayyab uses images of the River Buwayb which has been the object of longing in his childhood, as a substitute for the myth of Tammuz, the god of fertility. The archetypal images of the River in this poem alludes to abyss of death which is to be connected to the recovery of life at the last moment. The River reflect al-Sayyab's will and desire to get over the unendurable realities through self-sacrifice. In 「'Unshudah al-Mat¸ar」the images of rain suggest al-Sayyab's real situation driven to despair, as well as his hope of the renewal and revival of life. The despair which the rain has brought to al-Sayyab's heart is related to the national tragedy of Iraqi people in a state of wretchedness. But the poet believes firmly that his people will overcome the difficulties, cherishing a hope for the bright future, like fertility and richness that rain will bring to the nature.

        레바논 현대 여성문학의 발전과정 연구

        김능우 한국외국어대학교 중동연구소 2003 중동연구 Vol.22 No.1

This thesis aims at studying the development process of the feminism literature in modern Lebanon. This is supposed to be a basic and necessary research for furthering more studies on related fields. When it comes to the start of modern feminism literature in Lebanon, its first direct motive is attributed to Arab Nahdah(Renaissance) movement which arised led by Egypt and Lebanon late 19th century, and which comprised issue of Arab women emancipation in the list of matters hotly discussed. Of other important elements contributing to earlier development of modern feminism literature in Lebanon, are activities of women's organizations established in Lebanon and Syria, and troika of Lebanese feminism in the first stage, which are literary associations, literary salons and journals led by Lebanese women. Furthermore, during period from late 19th to the first half of 20th century Lebanese women writers started representing their earliest awareness of feminism by using poetry, novel, short story and treatise. But most of their literary works involved but a few limited subjects such as enlightenment of women, support for women's rights in Arab traditional society. On the while, women writers in Lebanon during the second half of 20th century made challenges toward emancipation of women from deep-rooted patriarchism, and search for themselves. The representatives figures of these tendencies were Layl? Balabakk?, Emily Nasr Allah, Gh?dah al-Samm?n, Layl? Usayr?n and Han?n al-Shaykh. They showed with their own distinctive styles new images of Arab women, such as some heroines who ask about themselves, struggling to get freedom, and others who commit themselves to Arab nationalism. Besides, tragedy of Lebanese civil war(1975-1989) formed an element of modern women literature in Lebanon, for some women writers adopted the civil war as background or theme of their works. They dealt with various subjects concerning Lebanese war, such as overcoming violence and injustice with love, valuing nationalism in the midst of war, women's agony resulting from closed situations in the time of war.
