A MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS
Abdeslam Elakkad,Ahmed Elkhalfi,Najib Guessous 한국전산응용수학회 2010 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.28 No.5
This paper describes a numerical solution of Navier-Stokes equations. It includes algorithms for discretization by finite element methods and a posteriori error estimation of the computed solutions. In order to evaluate the performance of the method, the numerical results are compared with some previously published works or with others coming from commercial code like ADINA system.

In this work, a numerical solution of the incompressible Navi-er-Stokes equations is proposed. The method suggested is based on an algorithm of discretization by mixed nite elements with a posteriori er-ror estimation of the computed solutions. In order to evaluate the per-formance of the method, the numerical results are compared with some previously published works or with others coming from commercial code like Adina system.
