Electrostatic precipitator is the equipment that separates dust particles from the gas in which they are suspended. Specially, for the construction of industrial electrostatic precipitator, the corporations would send the layout design to a customer to accept an order. Therefore, it is mae a detail drawing after accept ance. Since the layout design of electrostatic precipitator is very complex, it takes time and design errors are included. Thus, for competitiveness in these industries, the development of software for the layout design of electrostatic precipitator is important. In this study, the developed software deals with technical concept and layout design of industrial electrostatic precipitator. By using the software, design time was very short, design errors reduced largely, and the standardization of design could be carried out.

The working tractor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system. This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study draws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

A mirror cam mechanism, a kind of conjugate cam mechanism, consists of two cams, two rollers, and two links. Since profiles of two mirror cams are identical, a simultaneous machining of two cams is achievable. Some machining errors on cam profiles do not result in the internal acting force, which often causes problems in high speed cam mechanism, between two links. Also, since angular accelerations of two links are same, the internal acting force by the difference of the angular accelerations does not occur in the mechanism. Thus the mirror cam mechanism is very useful in high speed machinery. This paper studies a design method as well as a machining method, and develops an exclusive CAD/CAM software for mirror cam profiles. The developed CAD/CAM software is applied to a typical mirror cam mechanism, and a mock-up equipment is built in order to test the machined mirror cam. Experimental investigations show that the contact between cam surface and roller surface according to cam rotation agrees well with the simulation on the developed CAD/CAM software.

This study is continuous with the study 1 (A Study on the Modeling) and the sample impeller of this study is defined by the modeling process of the exclusive CAD/CAM system developed in the study I. And, this study describes a method for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. Therefore, the exclusive CAD/CAM system is the software for modeling and machining of impeller blades. By using the machining method suggested in this study, we could manufacture impeller blades on 5-axis CNC machining center and the machined impeller was very agreeable to the designed impeller. Thus, theories proposed in this study can be very useful for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades.

We have developed the exclusive CAD/CAM system for the machining of impeller blades. This study is about the modeling method for the effective machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. As the impeller is consisted of boss part and blade part, the boss is modeled by rotational surface of hub curve on z-axis and the blade is described by ruled-surfaces between hub curve and shroud curve. This modeling process can be carried out on the software developed in this study. And, the developed software can describe the impeller as a solid model through interface with Solid-Works software. The developed software containing the interface method proposed in this study was very effective for impeller modeling.
정밀 캠의 CNC 가공을 위한 New Biarc Interpolation에 관한 연구

This study is concerned with the algorithm of generating a new circular arc interpolation. This research presents a new biarc curve fitting that is a circular interpolation method based on a triarc curve fitting. The triarc method, where a segment span is composed of three circular arcs, using maximum error estimation has the advantage of generating arc splines easily to a given tolerance. The new biarc method is called when the adjacent radii arc same in the triarc method. In generating the machining data for various cam curves in CNC machining with the biarc method and the new biarc method, the latter accomplished fast NC-code generation, short NC-code block formation and machined the same cam profile more efficiently.
4WD 및 4WS이 가능한 로더 개발(Ⅱ) : 4륜 조향장치 및 로더 구성 4WS System and Construction Loader

In this study, the loader was completed that has the 4-wheel gear driven drivetrain of study (Ⅰ), the 4-wheel steering with power wheel type, all-wheel traction system, and joy-stick type lever for hydraulic control value. From driving test of the developed 4WD and 4WS type loader, we obtained that the minimum circling radius and the necessary width in circling motion reduced about 40% and 33% compared with 2WS type loader. Also, all-wheel traction system could keep the tires glued to the ground with greater stability, the ower steering allowed a smoother operation, and the joy-stick type lever offered easily to control. Thus, the developed loader having these functions was very fit in a small cattle shed or a rugged ground.

최근 대일 무역업개방에 즈음하여 개방의 시기와 그 적절성에 대한 논의가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그리고 그 논의의 촛점은 한국종합상사와 일본 종합상사의 경쟁력 비교로 모아지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국종합상사와 일본종합상사의 한국시장에서의 경쟁력을 비교하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 종합상사에 대한 기존의 정의를 연구목적에 알맞게 수정하여 제시하고 둘째, 산업의 규제경쟁력 평가모형을 수정해서 종합상사의 국제경쟁력을 평가하기 위한 모델을 설정하고 한국시장에서 기업활동을 수행하고 있는 한국종합상사와 쇼오고쇼사의 경쟁력을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 분석에근거하여 한ㆍ일 종합상사 사이의 경쟁력의 차이를 결론으로 도출하고 한국종합상사의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 제안을 언급하였다. 한ㆍ일 종합상사의 경쟁력비교 평가결과 일본상사 서울지점의 경우 단계별 시장개방과 자본자유화를 고려하더라도 경쟁력 평가요소 가운데서 경영환경과 정치가 및 행정관료 요소를 제외한 7개 요소에서 한국종합상사에 비해 경쟁적 우위에 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 이러한 평가에 근거할 때 대일 무역업개방에 대비하여 한국종합상사의 경쟁력제고를 위한 정부, 기업의 역할이 시급하다고 판단된다.

This paper describes the method and the process for impeller machining on 5-axis CNC machining center. Also, The CAD/CAM software for the impeller post processing is developed. The software can be interfaced with Solid-works software for confirmation of the impeller shapes. In this study, blades on impeller is described from Ruled-surfaces between two Ferguson curves. In this study, using 5-axis NC part program obtained from the developed software, a sample impeller was machined on 5-axis CNC machining center. The machined impeller was very agreeable to the designed impeller. Thus, theories proposed in this study can be very useful for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades with Ruled-surfaces.

In this paper, we have discussed on the characteristics and modeling of machined geometry which was established for the case of round shape machining, also the effects of externally machined profile are analyzed and its modeling realia-biliy was verified by the experiments of roundness testing, especially in lathe operation. In this study, we established a harmonic geometric model with the parameter harmonic function. In general, we can calculate the theoretical roundness profile with an arbitrary multilobe parameter. But in real experiments, only 2-5 lobe profile was frequently measured. the most frequently measured ones are 3 and 5 lobe profile in experiments. With these results, we can predict that these results may be applied to round shape machining such as turning, drilling, boring, ball screw and cylindrical grinding operation in bearing and shaft making operation with the same method. In this study, simulation and experimental work were performed to show the profile behaviors. we can apply these new modeling methods in real process for the predic-tion of part profile behaviors machined such as in round shape machining operation.
