Development of A Power Conditioning System for A 100kW MCFC Generation System
Hongju Jung,Hyoungnam Kwon,Joonmo Chung,Inyoung Suh,HeeCheon Lim,KyoSang Ahn 전력전자학회 2004 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.- No.-
This paper presents the development and testing of a power conditioning system (PCS) for application to a 100kW Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC) generation system. The MCFC generation system is a part of a four year government funded research project that began in 2001. This paper presents the results of various tests and performance verification of the 100kW PCS using a DC power system that simulates the DC output of the MCFC fuel cell. Performance of the DC/DC, DC/AC converters were verified, and basic
control functions such as grid connection, protection and characteristics of each component were tested. The tests were
performed under light load and rated load conditions to verify the operation efficiency, power quality effects, and stability of the PCS.

Global Asymptotic Stability Analysis of FAST TCP Using Nonlinear Small Gain Theorem
Joon-Young Choi,Hongju Kim,Soonman Kwon IEEE 2014 IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS Vol.18 No.3

We investigate the global asymptotic stability of FAST TCP based on a continuous-time model for FAST TCP network in which all of cross traffics, time-varying network feedback delays, and queuing delay dynamics at link are taken into consideration. We recognize the dynamic interaction between FAST TCP source and link as a feedback interconnection of two input-to-state stable(ISS) subsystems. Then, applying the Razumikhin-type nonlinear small gain theorem, we prove that FAST TCP network is inherently ISS and globally asymptotically stable without any specific conditions on the tuning parameter a or update gain. for FAST TCP operation. The ISS property of FAST TCP guarantees the robustness to disturbances, and the approach using the small gain theorem provides a guideline to design a globally stable and robust congestion control algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate the validity of the global asymptotic stability of FAST TCP.
