        Trypsin inhibitor 缺如 大豆品種의 探索 및 그의 遺傳育種學的 硏究 Ⅴ. trypsin inhibitor의 活性度 및 電氣泳動樣相의 遺傳과 選拔效果

        The inheritance and selection efficiency of the trypsin inhibiting activity and its electrophoretic band pattern were studied to develop deficient or low active cultivars in trypsin inhibitor of soybean. Inheritance of trypsin inhibitor activity was controlled by a few partial dominant or dominant, and minor genes, showing quantitative inheritance. The heritability and genetic gains estimated for low activity of trypsin inhibitor ranged from 64% to 75% and from 4500 to 9500, respectively. The high heritability and considerable genetic gains assured that the selection for low activity of trypsin inhibitor in the early generation of hybrid population would be very effective. Ti¹, Ti² and Ti³ band pattern of kunitz type trypsin inhibitor were controlled by codominant multiple allelic system and the absence of trysin inhibitor band was inherited as a recessive to Ti¹, Ti² and Ti³. And thus genotype of Keumdu which is absence of trysin inhibitor band was homozygous recessive (ti ti).

        韓國 蒐集 在來種 조의 特性

        To obtain basic information on the general characteristics of Korean local collections of foxtail millet, 88 local lines were collected widely throughout the country and investigated some morphological characteristics and studied also some ecological characteristics on the days from planting to heading and maturity by means of planting five times with 20 days interval. Ninty six per cent of collected lines showed green basal colour of culm and remains were purple or greenish purple. Most of collected lines showed cylindrical ear type and some of them were Indian club type, and only 2 lines showed branched type. Some morphological characters showed considerable variation ranging 103 to 162cm in culm length, 10 to 14 in the ratio of length to width of flag leaf, 6 to 10 in the ratio of length to thickness of millet ears, and 52 to 323g in the grain yield per 0.6m², respectively. But there were no close relation of collected lines with regional distribution in the above morphological characters. The days from planting to heading ranged from 72 days to 106 days and most of lines collected from southern part showed middle and late in heading. About 80% of collected lines showed 5 to 7 days in the shortening ratio of the days from planting to heading, and 87% of the lines ranged 7 to 10 days in the shortening ratio of the days from planting to maturity. The variation of shortening ratio of the days from planting to heading and muturity was not large enough to classify the ecotype of collected lines.

        Nature of gene action and inheritance of the days to flower in mungbean (Vigna γ-adiata (L.) Wilczek) were determined in the F₁ and F₂ generations of 30 possible combinations of six-parent diallel cross. All the F₁ populations were grown in the pots(1/5,000a) under three different day length conditions (natural, 9-hour and 16-hour photoperiods). The F₂ populations were grown under two different plantings, early and late, in the experimental field of Crop Experiment Station, Suweon, Korea in 1984. The analysis of degree of dominance on the days to flower showed partial-to over-dominance, but the direction of dominance varied with different cross combinations. Early flowering in F₁ generation appeared to over-dominance over the late flowering under 9-hour photoperiod with no general tendency under natural and 16-hour photoperiod. Combining ability analysis indicated that both additive and non-additive gene action were involved in the days to flower. The estimation of broad sense heritability was considerably high for the days to flower (78.3%). The heritability estimates and F₂ distribution suggested that the photo-sensitive factor of V1094, which is photo-insensitive genotype was not expressed due to recessive inhibitor factor.

        Nature of gene action and inheritance of such characters as plant height, number of branches, first pod setting node, seed yield, and yield components in mungbean were determined in the F₂generations of 30 possible combinations of six-parent diallel cross. The F₂populations were grown under two different plantings, early and late, in the experimental field of Crop Experiment Station in 1984. General direction of dominance for the characters showed that tall plant height was dominant over short plant height, smaller seed over larger seed, and lower yield over higher yield. Degree of dominance for the plant height, 100 seed weight, and seed yield varied partial to over-dominance depending on the cross combinations. Direction of dominance for the number of pods per plant also varied with the different crosses. Combining ability analysis indicated that both additive and non-additive gene actions were involved in the first pod setting node and the number of seeds per pod, and that additive gene action was predominant in the plant height, 100-seed weight, and seed yield. Graphical analysis of diallel cross showed that additive gene action was predominant with partial dominance effect for lower 100-seed weight. Two smaller seed genotypes, V 3092 and V 1094, appeared to be dominant alleles, while two larger seed genotypes, V 3686 and VC 1973A, recessive alleles.

        호밀, 귀리, 트리티케일의 播性程度分類

        This study was carried out to evaluate the minimum duration of low temperature treatment required for vernalization of rye, triticale and oats varieties in Suweon, Korea. Low temperature(4℃) treatments for vernalization were made in green-seed(Budding Seed) stage for different duration such as ten, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one and zero weeks, respectively. After treatment, all of the treated plants were transplanted into the greenhouse with 25℃/20℃(day/night) and 24 hour-day length condition to be grown until flag leaf emergence. And then, days from transplanting to flag leaf emergence were observed and the results was shown as follows : Five varieties, including ‘Megwiri’ appeared to be grade Ⅰ for growth habit, one, grade Ⅱ, two grade Ⅲ, and one, grade Ⅳ in oats. In triticale two varieties, including ‘Sinkihomil’ appeared to be grade Ⅲ, five, grade Ⅱ, and one, grade Ⅳ. In rye two varieties, including ‘Karlshulder (Spring)’ and ‘Sorom’, grade Ⅰ, one, grade Ⅳ, three, grade Ⅵ, six, including ‘Paldanghomil’, grade Ⅶ, one, grade Ⅸ, and two, beyond grade Ⅹ.
