A Study of Impact of Art on Successful Aging

This study aimed to reveal impact of art and daily activities on the emotionality of the adults aged 60 or more. Results on the effects of physical activities on satisfaction show that art performance physical activities improve emotional wellbeing of old people, and therefore the subjects who perform those activities longer than two hours a week have highest level of satisfaction with wellbeing and medical services. Regarding social security benefit, certainly there is a linkage between the benefit and satisfaction; those without the benefit even has higher satisfaction with welfare satisfaction, indicating that lower socioeconomic status has negative impacts on satisfaction even though they receive welfare benefits. First, we looked at the agel general welfare center employees` work stress, public support, and depression level. The major cause of work stress was excess amount of labor by 3.291 points, followed by work complications with 3.207 points and workers` identity crisis by 2.291 points. Looking at the public support level, it had an average of 3.65 points, which is higher than average(median). The depression level had an average of 2.22points, which is lower than the average(median). Therefore, agel general welfare center employees` state of depression is fairly low.
