This study is about sentence structures of Turkish and French languages. They are in different language groups and these two languages presents the different grammatical rules and syntax characteristics. We speaked about the theory of N.Chomsky of generative grammar. We pointed out the syntagmatic structures and hierarchic bonds in sentences of these two languages. We explained the difference between these two languages making a comparison. Because Turkish language differs from French language at syntactic unit. In Turkish language, complement takes place before verb, takes inflectional suffix and builds possessive construction with genitive and possessive suffixs.

In this study, we tried to explain how to analyze the question cases by comparing the essential traditional Turkish grammar books. We dealed with the kinds, formations and meaning relation of the Turkish question sentences in the syntactic framework in Turkish education and teaching. We expressed the question sentences that are formed by intonation, question words and interrogative suffix -mi and using values of them comparatively. Moreover, we examined the question cases of interrogative suffix -mi according to the elements of sentences and its form of writing. The value of usage is explained with examples in order to clarify the subject. We evaluated the general view of modern linguistic studies to the question cases.
