FDM technology is among the most widely used additive manufacturing technologies. The most popular materials are ABS and PLA, but lately nylon has been used more often. The aim of the paper is to determine the impact of infill pattern and continuous fiberglass reinforcement on the tensile properties of additively manufactured composite material. The samples were made of Onyx as matrix material on a Markforged Onyx Pro printer, with and without varying fiberglass volume fraction. In addition, five different infill patterns (solid, triangular, rectangular, hexagonal and gyroid) were investigated. The experimental results revealed that infill patterns have different effects on the tensile strength and elastic behavior of the material, but the consumption of material and time should also be considered. The use of continuous fiberglass reinforcement significantly improves the tensile characteristics of the material. Proper arrangement of fibers in multiple layers can give better tensile properties of the material.
Text Recognition Algorithm Based on Text Features

It is difficult to realize the text watermarking algorithm on natural language, and the format of text watermarking algorithm has poor robustness against format attacks. This paper presents the new text recognition algorithm based on the text feature. The words are segmented and extracted according to the text feature. The feature dimensions are reduced with the technology of LSA and stop-words database. The new similarity method is also defined to determine the threshold in order to detect the watermarking. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm has better operating efficiency and stronger robustness than the previous researches. This algorithm can also handle the text document written in both Chinese and English effectively.
A Zero-Watermark Scheme for Identification Photos based on QR Code and Visual Cryptography
De Li,Zhe Liu,LiHua Cui 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.1
This paper proposes a zero-watermark scheme for identification photos based on QR code and visual cryptography. The method makes no changes to original images while embedding the QR code watermark. In order to ensure the security, we use Arnold transformation to scrambling the watermark. In the scheme, we use discrete wavelet transform and matrix norm computing to generate the invariant feature values against print-scan attacks. Then the VC scheme is applied to generate the secret image from the feature values and the disturbed watermark by using a codebook. In the extraction scheme, we get the secret image which is registered to certification authority and the feature values extracted from the examined image with VC scheme, and then apply inverse Arnold transformation to restore the watermark, finally repair position patterns of the QR code. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and robust against attacks such as JPEG compression, add noise, multiple filters, scale, little angle rotation and crop, especial print-scan attacks.
