인도네시아 水産業의 背景 및 現況과 韓國과의 共同開發에 관한 展望

Even though Indonesia dominate the vast ocean and abundant fishery resources, the development of fishing industry has been not so much progressed. It is presumable that the demand of fishery product in Indonesia will be increased at a high speed in accordance with the rapid increase of population and the elevation of living standard in the near future. The technology and capital to develop the fishing industry is not so sufficient that the Government of Indonesia is trying to introduce them from foreign countries. On the other hand, the Korean fishery production in the near sea fishing ground has already been beyond the maximum sustainable yield, so it will be obliged to import fishery product in a large quantity unless she tries to get a increased production in the field of overseas fisheries. The production is slightly increasing in that field, but it will gradually be difficult to fulfill the rapidly increasing demand without co-operation with the resourceful countries. In this point of view, Indonesia should be one of the expectable co-operative countries for Korea. The authors analyzed the background and present status of fishing industry in Indonesia and tried to show its development scheme under th co-operation with Korea.

著者는 1987년 5월 20일부터 3주간 美州機構(Organization of american States)의 초청으로 과테말라共和國을 방문한 바 있다. 이 초청의 목적은 과테말라共和國에 있어서의 水産業의 現況과 여러가지 조건을 검토하여 그 나라에 있어서 水産業의 開發과 雇傭增大方案을 수립하기 위한 것이었다. 과테말라共和國은 中美의 멕시코의 바로 남쪽에 위치하며, 面積은 10만 9천 K, 인구는 840만이며, 人種은 인디오가 30%, 白人이 10%, 混血種이 60%이다. 인디오의 歷史는 마야文明時代까지 거슬어 오르면 紀原前 2000년대에 이르나, 1523년 스페인에 정복되고, 그 후 300년간 스페인의 지배를 받았다. 그 후 1821년에 獨立하기는 했으나, 이것은 인디오의 獨立을 뜻하는 것은 아니고 다만 植民地의 本國으로부터의 獨立에 지나지 않고 支配層은 여전히 白人이다. 獨立후 복잡한 政權交替過程을 겪었으나 1986년에 民政이 수립되었다. 이 나라 産業,經濟는 아직 未開發단계이며, 每人當 GNP가 1000$에 이른다고 하나 富의 偏中으로 서민의 生活水準은 매우 낮고, 文盲率도 50%나 된다. 水産物 總生産量은 4천 M/T에 불과하고 畜産業도 그다지 발달하지 못했으므로 動物性 蛋白質의 供給문제는 점차 심각해지고 있다. 따라서, 水産業의 開發로 그것을 극복하고, 도한 그 분야에 있어서의 雇傭도 증대시키고자 하는 것이다. 이 論文은 美州機構에 제출한 報告書의 要旨이다.
韓國 近海에 있어서의 中層 트로올의 硏究 - Ⅲ - 漁具의 垂直展開度 -

The authors carried out an experiment to determine the vertical opening of the midwater trawl, which is the same used in the former experiment in this series of studies. To determine the vertical opening of otter board and front weight, three fish finders were used. A 200 HKz fish finder set onboard the research vessel was used to sound the depth of water. A transmitter of 50 KHz fish finder was set through the shoe plate of otter board to determine the height of otter board from the sea bed, and a transmitter of another 50 KHz fish finder was set downwardly on the net pendant right before the front weight to determine the height of weight from the sea bed. The depth of otter board and weight were calculated by subrract the height of those from the depth of water, respectively. To determine the vertical opening of mouth, a transmitter of net recorder was set on the head rope and the vertical opening of that to ground rope was directly read on the recording paper. The results obtained can be summarized as follows; 1. The rate of the depth of otter board to the length of warp was in lhe range of 0.44 to O.25, and the depth was linearly shealed about 5m per 0.1 m/sec of the towing speed or per 20rpm of the main engine. The rate of the observed depth to the calculated depth of otter board was in the range of 0.92 to 0.80 with a decreasing tendancy in accordance with the increase of towing speed. 2. The depth of head rope was 2 to 3m deeper than that of otter board, and the vertical opening of net mouth was in the range of 22 to 19m, with a decreasing tendancy in accordance with the increase of towing speed. 3. The difference of depth between front weight and otter board was about 20m and 22m respectively in the length of warp 100m and 150m without distinct change in accordance with the towing speed. The depth of front weight was 2 to 3m shallower than that of ground rope. 4. The changing range of depth of head rope according to the revolution of main engine was about 4m per 20rpm.
