        고추 辛味性 品種에 있어서 1果重의 構成要素에 關한 硏究

        고추 育種의 基礎資料를 얻기 위하여 辛味性 品種에 있어서 고추 1果重에 對한 各 構成要素들의 比率과 이들 構成形質間의 相關關係를 調査하였는데 그 結果는 다음과 같다. (1) 1果重에 對한 構成形質別 生果重의 比는 果肉이 60~78%로서 第一크고 其他는 비슷하였다. 乾果重의 比는 果肉이 42~67%로서 第一 크고 種子는 19~47%로 다음이였고 其他는 비슷하였다. (2) 乾物重에 있어서 全1果重에 對한 果肉重과 種子重과의 比率은 小果에서는 兩者가 比等하였으나 大果에서는 果肉重이 훨씬 컸다. (3) 1果重의 各 構成形質間에 높은 正의 相關關係를 나타내었다. (4) 生果重과 乾果重間에 높은 正의 相關關係가 있었다. In order to obtaine the basic information for red pepper breeding, component ratio and correlation between characters concerned with fruit weight were estimated using 9 commercial varieties of Korea. The results obtained were summarized as follows; (1) The ratio of pericarp to total fresh weight showed the highest value(60-70%) and of the components showed almost the same value, and in the ratio to total dry weight, the pericarp also showed the hightest value (42-67%) and other components except seed weight showed almost the same value. (2) Pericarp and seed were similar in dry weight in smaller fruit. In larger fruit, however, pericarp were more heavier than seed. (3) High positive correlation between fruit weight components were obtained. (4) Between fresh and dry weight, high positive correlation was obtained.

        1. In 1958, I induced some tetraploids by colchicine treatment and observed the chromosome behaviors during maturation division of pollen mother cells in KYUNGPOOK LOCAL VARIETIES of 4-cell white coat sesame. 2. The chromosome numbers in nuclear plate at 1-M were certified n=29 in tetraploid and n=13 in diploid. 3. At the first metaphase, from / to 6 univalent chromosomes were observed in tetraploid and the frequency of unicalent chromosomes was about 60%, and relation between the numbers of univalent chromosomes and phenomenon of abnormal division was parallel, and univalent chromosomes and polyvalent chromosomes are main cause of abnormal division. 4. As the characteristics of tetraploids, tetravalent chromosomes were observed and the frequency of tetravalent chromosomes was about 70%, and from trivalents to octovalents were observed. 5. At first metaphase, high-polyploid chromosomes were observed rarely and at first anaphase, multipolar division were observed rarely. 6. The secnodary pairings were observed at first metaphase, the frequency of secondary pairings was about 19.54%. 7. Nuclear plates were contained the unequational chromosome numbers at second metaphase and the frequency of unequational distribution was about 53%, and such variations of chromosome numbers are due to the formation of univalent and polyvalent chromosomes at heterotypic divisions. 8. Formation of pollen tetrads was almost abnormal and the normal pollen tetrads were observed about 26%.

      • 在來種 作物의 倍數性에 關한 硏究 : 3. 마늘 (Alluim sativum L.)의 人爲倍數體 Artificial Poly Ploids of Allium Astivum L.

        1) We have obtained polyploid plants in local variety of garlic (Allium sativum L.) by treatment of colchicne. 2) The storage leaf of treated plants were lacerated hard and wicked in its growth at the first stage. 3) The leaves of the garlic treated by colchicine have shown abnormal dwwarfing, and the width of the leaves were increased particularly than that of untreated plants comparing with the length of its leaves. 4) The stomata, the width of the leaves and the weight of the bulbs were increased particularly in size than that of untreated plants, but the stomata, for a visual field, was decreased in number than that of the untreated plants, and we could to recognized that it has shown reliable significance on it. 5) The results gained from the investigation of the somatic chromosome number was 2n=16 in the untreated plants, and 2n=32 in the treated plants at metaphase in the cell division,. So it is certified that the treated plants are tetraploid. 6) In observation of the somatic dell division, there were many abnormal shapes of giant nucleus owing to high polyploidy, anaphase bridge, tripolar division and unequality diviwion, etc.
