      • On Basketball Philosophy of Hoopsters

        Purpose: Basketball philosophy is one kind of sound thinking mode based on basketball theory, which is of the profound understanding on basketball. The basketball philosophy of hoopsters is their understanding and thinking on basketball, namely, the understanding capability for the basketball tactics. This paper concentrates on analyzing the characteristics, type, psychology fundamentals of the basketball philosophy of them and cultivation approaches of basketball philosophy, and providing theoretic guide for basketball players`` practice in view of theoretic research. Method: 1. Theoretic analysis: This paper analyzes the characteristics, type, psychology fundamentals of hoopsters`` basketball philosophy by methods of logic analysis. 2. Survey: In order to study the cultivation approaches and methods for basketball philosophy, the author consulted some basketball coaches, players, experts and psychologists by methods of questionnaire and expert interview. Conclusion: Firstly, basketball philosophy of hoopsters belongs to operation cognition. One the one hand, Basketball players`` tactic thinking in the competition needs existed conceptions, principles and theories, which forms the theoretic thinking. On the other hand, they can obtain much experiential knowledge from practices, which forms the experiential thinking. Furthermore, Basketball players`` tactic thinking and actions in the competition is abundant and complicated, which needs experiential and intuitive thinking to deal with the tactic action, namely, forms the intuitive thinking. Secondly, these three tactic thinking mode plays different role in decision-making for basketball players`` tactic action. Theoretic thinking functions as analytic thinking based on existed knowledge and conceptions, which plays a main part in tactics decision-making from macroscopic view. Experiential thinking plays an important part in players`` tactics decision-making from microscopic view according to practical experience and knowledge. Intuitive thinking functions as acting ability according to varied situations, which is to use individual tactic actions in urgent and drastic situation. Thirdly, each tactic play has a basic ``standard mode``. Tactic decision- making in different positions and varied situations should have different ``rational mode``. Thus the process of coaching and training is the imitational process to ``standard mode`` in tactic decision- making for basketball players.

      • An Investigation and Research on the Conditions of Being Weary of Study among University Students of PE. Major

        Purpose: The all kinds of factor affect study attitude of university students. The present situation of the PE. students``being weary of study is serious. This paper aims to investigate the present situation of the PE. university students`` being weary of study in China, to study the relevant factor that are responsible for such consequences, and to provide reference for teaching perform in PE. university. Method: 1. Questionaires: the author surveyed 1500 PE. & non-PE. Students.1413 valid questionnaires were callbacked. By methods of remeasure, this indicates that the investigate is credible. 2. Expert interviewing: In order to obtain the present situation of the PE. students`` being weary of study, the author consulted 50 experts and teacheres by methods of calling and expert interview. 3. Statistic method: Based on the data and statistical theory and method, analysing and processing all kinds of datas, checking up confidence and validity level. The degree of PE. students``being weary of study is higher than non-PE. students``. Secondly, relevant factor which are responsible for the situation of PE. students`` weary of study are: goal of study, teaching quality, management, teaching environment and conditions, teaching content, social factor, etc. The key factor being weary of study is ambiguity study goal. Thirdly, the main factor being weary of study is that teaching quality decline. The part factor rests with PE. students`` inferior culture foundation, intellect, thinking. The exterior factor lie on unstable social environment, imbalance obtain employment, inideal speciality foreground, etc.

        Endoscopic internal drainage with double pigtail stents for upper gastrointestinal anastomotic leaks: suitable for all cases?

        Background/Aims: Surgeons and endoscopists have started to use endoscopically inserted double pigtail stents (DPTs) in the managementof upper gastrointestinal (UGI) leaks, including UGI anastomotic leaks. We investigated our own experiences in this patient population. Methods: From March 2017 to June 2020, 12 patients had endoscopic internal drainage of a radiologically proven anastomotic leak afterUGI surgery in two tertiary UGI centers. The primary outcome measure was the time to removal of the DPTs after anastomotichealing. The secondary outcome measure was early oral feeding after DPT insertion. Results: Eight of the 12 patients (67%) required only one DPT, whereas four (33%) required two DPTs. The median duration of drainagewas 42 days. Two patients required surgery due to inadequate control of sepsis. Of the remaining 10 patients, nine did not require achange in DPT before anastomotic healing. Nine patients were allowed oral fluids within the 1st week and a soft diet in the 2nd week. One patient was allowed clear oral feeds on the 8th day after DPT insertion. Conclusions: Endoscopic internal drainage is becoming an established minimally invasive technique for controlling anastomotic leakafter UGI surgery. It allows for early oral nutritional feeding and minimizes discomfort from conventional external drainage.

        The behaviors of LNAPL migration and entrapment in a rough-walled vertical fracture

        The migration of light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) and their entrapment in unsaturated vertical fractures exhibit complex behaviors, such as upward LNAPL migration that follows water level rise. In this study, behavior of LNAPL migration and entrapment in a vertical rough-walled fracture was investigated with optical measurement. A series of experiments were preformed, including fracture drainage, LNAPL infiltration and accumulation in an unsaturated fracture, and upward LNAPL migration with water level rise. Experimental results indicate that the fracture aperture significantly influences the LNAPL migration path and entrapped blobs distribution. The LNAPL-filled aperture follows a normal distribution, with the mean aperture ranging 0.253 mm to 0.287 mm, and the standard deviation around 0.13 mm. The characteristics of the entrapment blob morphology indicate that 80% of the individual blob areas are smaller than 20mm2. The irregular structures of discrete blobs increase the ‘LNAPL-water’ interface, which will exacerbate contamination.

        An Optimal Robust Trajectory Tracking Control Strategy for the Wheeled Mobile Robot

        A new optimal robust control strategy is designed based on the modified backstepping method in thispaper. Using this strategy, stable, accurate and real-time trajectory tracking for the wheeled mobile robot in thepresence of unavoidable disturbances is achieved. The control strategy consists of a kinematic controller, a dynamical controller and an online optimization algorithm. The kinematic controller, which considers non-holonomicconstraint and the resulting under-actuated nature, has fewer gains and reduces the computational burden. The dynamical controller introduces a saturation function for error compensation and effectively suppresses disturbances. The optimization algorithm is used to achieve online tuning of controllers, thus achieving fast and accurate convergence of the trajectory tracking error. The stability of the control strategy is proved theoretically. Various numericalsimulation scenarios with different types of disturbances and the experiment test verify the superiority of the trajectory tracking effect.

      • Toward Full Spectrum Speciation of Silver Nanoparticles and Ionic Silver by On-Line Coupling of Hollow Fiber Flow Field-Flow Fractionation and Minicolumn Concentration with Multiple Detectors

        <P>The intertransformation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and ionic silver (Ag(I)) in the environment determines their transport, uptake, and toxicity, demanding methods to simultaneously separate and quantify AgNPs and Ag(I). For the first time, hollow fiber flow field-flow fractionation (HF5) and minicolumn concentration were on-line coupled together with multiple detectors (including UV–vis spectrometry, dynamic light scattering, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) for full spectrum separation, characterization, and quantification of various Ag(I) species (<I>i.e</I>., free Ag(I), weak and strong Ag(I) complexes) and differently sized AgNPs. While HF5 was employed for filtration and fractionation of AgNPs (>2 nm), the minicolumn packed with Amberlite IR120 resin functioned to trap free Ag(I) or weak Ag(I) complexes coming from the radial flow of HF5 together with the strong Ag(I) complexes and tiny AgNPs (<2 nm), which were further discriminated in a second run of focusing by oxidizing >90% of tiny AgNPs to free Ag(I) and trapped in the minicolumn. The excellent performance was verified by the good agreement of the characterization results of AgNPs determined by this method with that by transmission electron microscopy, and the satisfactory recoveries (70.7–108%) for seven Ag species, including Ag(I), the adduct of Ag(I) and cysteine, and five AgNPs with nominal diameters of 1.4 nm, 10 nm, 20 nm, 40 nm, and 60 nm in surface water samples.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/ancham/2015/ancham.2015.87.issue-16/acs.analchem.5b01827/production/images/medium/ac-2015-01827q_0006.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/ac5b01827'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

        Recyclable and biocompatible microgel-based supporting system for positive 3D freeform printing of silicone rubber

        Additive manufacturing (AM) of biomaterials has evolved from a rapid prototyping tool into a viable approach for the manufacturing of patient-specific implants over the past decade. It can tailor to the unique physiological and anatomical criteria of the patient’s organs or bones through precise controlling of the structure during the 3D printing. Silicone elastomers, which is a major group of materials in many biomedical implants, have low viscosities and can be printed with a special AM platform, known as freeform 3D printing systems. The freeform 3D printing systems are composed of a supporting bath and a printing material. Current supporting matrices that are either commercially purchased or synthesized were usually disposed of after retrieval of the printed part. In this work, we proposed a new and improved supporting matrix comprises of synthesized calcium alginate microgels produced via encapsulation which can be recycled, reused, and recovered for multiple prints, hence minimizing wastage and cost of materials. The dehydration tolerance of the calcium alginate microgels was improved through physical means by the addition of glycerol and chemical means by developing new calcium alginate microgels encapsulated with glycerol. The recyclability of the heated calcium alginate microgels was also enhanced by a rehydration step with sodium chloride solution and a recovery step with calcium chloride solution via the ion exchange process. We envisaged that our reusable and recyclable biocompatible calcium alginate microgels can save material costs, time, and can be applied in various freeform 3D printing systems.

      • An Improved PSO Algorithm Based on SA and Quantum Theory and Its Application

        Due to the low computational precision, local optimal solution and slow convergence speed of particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, an improved PSO (SAQPSO) algorithm based on simulated annealing (SA) and quantum theory is proposed in this paper. The first, quantum theory is used to change the updating mode of the particles in order to improve the search speed and the convergence precision, and guarantee the simplification and effectiveness. Then the SA with probability and local search ability is introduced into quantum PSO (QPSO) in order to keep the diversity of the population, avoid falling into local optimum and enhance the global search ability. The SAQPSO algorithm keeps the characteristics of the simple and easy implementation, improves the global optimization ability and the convergence speed and the accuracy. Finally, some benchmark functions are used to prove the validity of the proposed SAQPSO algorithm. The computational results show that the proposed SAQPSO algorithm takes on the fast convergence speed, the better robustness and global search ability.

        <P>Abstract</P><P><I>Trivalvariarubra</I> and <I>Trivalvariacasseabriae</I>, two new species of Annonaceae from Putao, Kachin State, Myanmar, are here described and illustrated. They are morphologically similar to <I>T.costata</I> and <I>T.macrophylla</I>. The major differences between them are outlined and discussed. A diagnostic key to the species of <I>Trivalvaria</I> is provided.</P>
