In the present paper, we characterize f-Kenmotsu 3-manifolds with respect to the semi-symmetric metric connection satisfying certain cur- vature conditions: . Moreover, we have discussed Ricci symmetries in an f-Kenmotsu 3-manifold with respect to the semi-symmetric metric connection. In the paper, we also provided an example of f-Kenmotsu 3-manifolds, where f is a smooth function.

In the present paper, we characterize quasi-Sasakian 3-manifolds admitting 𝜂-Ricci solitons. Finally, the existence of 𝜂-Ricci soliton in a quasi-Sasakian 3-manifold has been proved by a concrete example.

The objective of the present paper is to study certain curvature conditions in Kenmotsu manifolds with respect to the semi-symmetric non-metric connection. Finally, we construct an example of 5-dimensional Kenmotsu manifold with respect to the semi-symmetric non-metric connection to verify some results of the paper.

A comprehensive knowledge of the wind flow in hilly terrains is of great interest in many engineering applications, be it wind energy distribution for suitable site selection for wind farms, pollution dispersion, forest fire propagation or agro-meterological studies. Several researchers have shown that wind flow over a hilly terrain may be significantly different when compared with the wind flow over a flat terrain. Complex hilly terrains may alter the wind speed to a great extent. Therefore, this effect of terrain must be properly assessed by designers and planners to arrive at a proper wind flow distribution. This paper reviews the work done in this area over the past three decades. Wind flow over two-dimensional hills and two-dimensional escarpments investigated in wind tunnels by various researchers is presented in this paper.

In this paper, we study ${\eta}$-Ricci solitons on ${\epsilon}$-LP-Sasakian manifolds with a quarter-symmetric metric connection satisfying certain curvature conditions. In particular, we have discussed that the Ricci soliton on ${\epsilon}$-LP-Sasakian manifolds with a quarter-symmetric metric connection satisfying certain curvature conditions is expanding or steady according to the vector field ${\xi}$ being timelike or spacelike. Moreover, we construct 3-dimensional examples of an ${\epsilon}$-LP-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection to verify some results of the paper.

In the present paper, we consider a semi-symmetric semi-metric connection in a Lorentzian β-Kenmotsu manifold. We investigate the curvature tensor and the Ricci tensor of a Lorentzian β-Kenmotsu manifold with a semi-symmetric semi-metric connection. Moreover, we consider pseudo projectively flat, ξ-pseudo projectively flat and Φ-pseudo projectively semisymmetric Lorentzian β-Kenmotsu manifolds with a semi-symmetric semi-metric connection and obtain the scalar curvature r in each case.
