        The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of abusive supervision on organizational silence and the mediating role of emotional exhaustion. Total 350 questionnaires were handed out and 328 questionnaires were used for the analysis. A structural equation modeling and regression analysis were used to test the model. The results of the study are as follows: First, abusive supervision was positively related to the organizational silence. Second, abusive supervision was positively related to the emotional exhaustion. Third, emotional exhaustion mediated the relationship between abusive supervision and organizational silence. These results are expected to give some theoretical contributions for abusive supervision research as well as to give some practical implementations for human resource management of military environment.

        협상상황에서 시간압력과 협상결과의 관계연구 : 분배적 협상을 중심으로

        두 경제 주체 즉, 특정한 목적을 지닌 당사자들 간에 일정한 잉여를 어떻게 나눌 것인가 하는 협상은 오늘날 매우 중요한 문제로 인식되고 있다. 특히, 많은 시대적 변화와 정보의 증가로 인해 협상이 일인이 담당할 수 있는 범위를 넘어서서 팀 조직을 통해 신속하고 효과적인 의사결정을 하는 것이 일상화된 점은 조직에서 팀은 점점 더 일을 수행하는 범위가 커지고 있다는 것을 의미하기도 한다. 이러한 사회적 현상에 대해 본 연구는 팀원들의 시간압력에 대한 협상성과의 영향에 연구로서 164명이 참가한 팀 협상의 모의 실험과 게임이론의 툴을 이용하여 분석한 논문이다. 본 연구는 팀 협상에서 협상 성과 및 시간에 미치는 결정요인을 파악하기 위하여 시간압력에 관한 협상의 게임이론과 협상 실험을 통해, 팀 협상에서 협상 성과가 협상 팀을 구성하는 팀원들의 팀과업 몰입에 따라 달라진다는 사실을 확인하였다. 이는 팀원들의 팀과업 몰입은 협상의 외부적 제약 요소인 시간 압력에 의해 영향을 받는다는 사실을 제시한다. 특히 팀 협상에서 팀원들이 인지한 시간 압력이 협상 전 팀원들의 팀과업 몰입과 협상 중 팀과업 몰입에 영향을 주어 이에 따라 협상 성과 달라진다는 사실을 발견하였다. Negotiation to distribute surplus between two economic agents with own individual objectives has been a very important issue these days. Especially, as efficient and swift decision-makings by teams become more common due to changes in time and increases in information, working as a team is more frequently required in wider areas. Based on the understandings on the trends, this paper examines the effect of perceived time pressure on negotiation performances through two research tools: team-negotiation experiments including 164 individuals and the game theory. We found that negotiation performances vary depending on the concentration levels of negotiation team members. This implies that the degrees of concentration of team members are affected by external conditions like time pressure. Specifically, acknowledged time pressure by the members influence the concentration levels before and during the negotiations, which in turn determine negotiation performances.

        N,N,N-Trimethylphytosphingosine (TMP)의 염증성 피부질환 치료제 가능성에 관한 연구

        Skin disease is one of the most common diseases and its incidence is increasing dramatically in modern society. Specially, many attempts have been made to treat chronic skin inflammation diseases, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, but effective therapies for the immune cell-mediated skin diseases, including psoriasis and atopic dermatitis have not been developed. Until recently, several drug candidates which were claimed to be effective for skin diseases have been reported, but most of them are not used to treat chronic skin disease. Especially, Psoriasis is characterized by excessive growth and aberrant differentiation of keratinocytes, but is fully reversible with appropriate therapy. The trigger of the keratinocyte response is thought to be activation of the cellular immune system, with T cells and various immune-related cytokines. Formation of new blood vessels starts with early psoriatic changes and disappears with disease clearance. Several angiogenic mediators are up-regulated in psoriasis development. Contact- and mediator-dependent factors derived from keratinocytes, mast cells and immune cells may contribute to the strong blood vessel formation of psoriasis. New technologies and experimental models provide new insights into the role of angiogenesis in psoriasis pathogenesis. TMP and its derivatives themselves effectively inhibited in vitro cell migration, tube formation, and the expression of angiogenic factors. However, TMP and its derivatives induced side effects including hemolysis and local side effects. Therefore, in an attempt to reduce the toxicity and the undesirable side effects of TMP and derivatives, a liposomal formulation was prepared and tested for its effectiveness. TMP and derivatives liposomes retained the effectiveness of TMP in vitro while side effects were reduced. These results support the conclusion that TMP effectively inhibits in vitro angiogenesis, with the possibility that use as a psoriasis relief agent.

        NF-κB 조절을 통한 오매추출물의 항염효과 및 작용기작에 관한 연구

        NF-κB is a transcriptional factor which is involved in many biological processes including immunity, inflammation, and cell survival. Many investigators studied on the mechanism involved in activation of NF-κB signalling pathway via ubiquitination and degradation of IκB regarding skin disease. Some specific molecules including Akt, MEK, p38 MAP Kinase, Stat3, et al. represent convergence points and key regulatory proteins in signaling pathways controlling cellular events such as growth and differentiation, energy homeostasis, and the response to stress and inflammation. Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation has many adverse effects on skin, including inflammation, alteration in the extracellular matrix, cellular senescence, apoptosis and skin cancer. Prunus mume, a naturally derived plant extract, has beneficial biological activities as blood fluidity improvement, anti-fatigue action, antioxidative and free radical scavenging activities, inhibiting the motility of Helicobacter pyolri. Previous reports on various beneficial function prompted us to investigate UVB-induced or other immunostimulated biological marker regarding P. mume extract. P. mume extract suppresses UVB-induced cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression in mouse skin epidermal JB6 P+ cells. The activation of activator protein-1 and nuclear factor-κB induced by UVB was dose-dependently inhibited by P. mume extract treatment. This results suggest that P. mume extracts might be used as a potential agents for protection of inflammation or UVB induced skin damage.
