The studies were attempted to investigate the therapeutic effect of Solanum lyratum extract(SLE) on the liver damage induced by carbon tetrachloride in rats. Male rats (Sprangue-Dawley) were treated with subchronic concentration of $CCl_4$, which was 1 mg/kg of $CCl_4$ via per oral administration daily for three days. The level of serum cholesterol, transaminase, bilirubin and BSP were measured. Treatment of SLE significantly decreased the increment in serum transaminase activities, total cholesterol and enlargement of liver but serum bilirubin was not reduced. The protective effect was observed when SLE was given daily for 4 weeks after $CCl_4$ treated for 3 days. SLE administration to rats prevented the development of fatty change, necrosis, and fibrosis induced by $CCl_4$. The results suggest that SLE has appreciable therapeutic effect on $CCl_4$ induced hepatotoxicity.

Precipitation was formed during the preparation of decoction from a mixture of Scutellariae Radix and Coptidis Rhizoma or Phellodendri Cortex according to the prescription of Hwang-ryean-hae-dog-tang. Baicalin and berberine were identified in coprecipitated product and these components were the active ingredients of two herbal medicine. The coprecipitated product was very slightly soluble in water and sparingly soluble in ethanol. The stoichiometric ratio of baicalin and berberine was found to be 1:1. The lipid-water partition coefficients of coprecipitated product were increased more than baicalin and berberine in chloroform, but were decreased in other organic solvents. The content of baicalin and berberine in coprecipitated product, determined by HPLC, were 23.08% and 26.75%, but the content of active ingredients in supernatant were 0.66% and 0.26%, respectively. The dissolution profile of baicalin of coprecipitated product was increased more than extract of Scutellariae Radix in artificial gastric juice, but was decreased in artificial intestinal juice. The dissolution rate of berberine of coprecipitated product was lower than extract of Coptidis Rhizoma in artificial gastric juice and intestinal juice commonly.

Precipitation reaction occurred between berberine in Coptidis Rhizoma and glycyrrhizin in Glycyrrhizae Radix when they were boiled together in aqueous solution and the supernatant solution thus obtained did not show any antibacterial activity which was derived from berberine. The content of berberine in BG and CGP by HPLC analysis were 41.1% 8.3% respectively. BG was occurred mostly at pH 5.0. The solubility of berberine was 0.15%, while that of BG and CGP was 0.07%. 0.12%. respectively. CGP shown more increased antibacterial activity to gram positive bacteria. S. dysenteriae and K. pneumoniae than berberine. The absorption rates of CGP in stomach, duodenum and jejunum of rats were compared with those of Coptidis Rhizoma water extracts (CR), which were increased more than CR. The time required for the maximum serum concentration of berberine from CGP in mice was 90 minutes after oral administration. The maximum serum concentration of berberine from CGP was higher than that from CR. The dissolution of CGP was increased more than berberine and BG in both artificial gastric and intestinal fluids. The dissolution of CGP pill made from gelatin was 63.4% in artificial gastric fluids and that made from CMC was 76.0% in artificial intestinal fluids.
황금 및 황련 공침물의 포접화합물 제조 및 생체이용률에 관한 연구

Precipitation was formed during the preparation of decoction from a mixture of Scutellariae Radix and Coptidis Rhizoma. Baicalin and berberine were identified in this coprecipitated product (CPP) and these components were the active ingredients of two herbal medicine. We extracted respectively crude baicalin and berberine in Scutellariae Radix and Coptidis Rhizoma and prepared coprecipitate of crude baicalin-berberine. To increase the stability and bioavailability of coprecipitate of crude baicalin-berberine(CBB), which is slightly soluble drug, its inclusion complex was prepared and studied in this experiment. Inclusion complex of CBB with β-cyclodextrin(CBB-β-CD) was prepared by freeze drying method and its characteristics were ascertained by means of solubility test, differential thermal analysis(DTA) and scanning electron microscope(SEM). The type of CBB-β-CD is classified as A_L-type on phase solubility diagram, and the stoichiometric ratio of CBB(baicalin in CBB) : β-CD complex is 1:1 and formation constant is 151 M^(-1). The solubility, dissolution, in situ absorption and serum concentration of CBB-β-CD were significantly increased when compared to CBB. Therefore enhanced bioavailability of CBB by inclusion complexation with β-cyclodextrin might be useful for dosage form design of active ingredients of two herbal medicine.

The bioavailabilities of baicalin in water, oil, w/o and o/w emulsion were evaluated in rats. The dissolution rate of baicalin in o/w emulsion was smaller than those of w/o form in dilute hydrochloric acid solution (pH 1.2) and in PBS (pH 6.8). The absorption rate of baicalin from w/o emulsion was smaller than that of o/w emulsion in the different parts of rat intestine of the rats. Following oral administration in rats, the C_(max) of baicalin from water phase, oil phase, o/w and w/o emulsion were 2.11, 0.61, 1.57, and 1.35 ㎍/㎖, respectively. The relative bioavailability of w/o emulsion was 129 % when it was compared with water phase. This result suggests that the improvement of bioavailability for baicalin in w/o emulsion might be practically available.

Geniposide and its related iridoid compounds have been used in traditional herbal medicine for the treatment of Jaundice hepatic diseases and various inflammatorys. For the purpose to increase trandsdermal absorption, the hydrolyzed products of Gardeniae Furcuts were identified and assayed of active ingredients and investigated trandsdermal absorption and anti-inflammatory effects. Geniposide was hydrolyzed to genipin by β-glucosidase and it was suggested that genipin was more suitableform than geniposide for transdermal absorption by its lipophilic property. Using Franz type diffusion cell and the skin of hairless mouse, the permeation rate of hydrolyzed products and their emulsion preparation were determined. Genipin have more increased absorption ratio through the skin hairless mouse than geniposide. Also, the emulsion of hydrolyzed products of extracts showed higher permeability than that of nonhydrolyzed preparations. After 9 hours 280.85 ㎍/㎠ of genipin was absorbed and 193.52 ㎍/㎠ in case of geniposide. The Js of geniposide and genipin were 26.27±4.11 ㎍/㎠/hr and 40.35±5.04 ㎍/㎠/hr respectively. After carrageenan injection, the swelling was increased rapidly to 24 hr and maintained as a plateau. But emulsion group were reached about 2.5 mL and the swelling decreased successively from 24 hr to 72 hr. The anti-inflammation effects of extracts and hydrolyzed products emulsion were increased with significant difference with control group after 24 hr, 48 hr and 72 hr. In carrageenan induced edema, inhibition of swelling was increased in case of hydrolyzed product emulsion compare with nonhydrolyzed group at 24 hr, 48 hr and 72 hr after swelling. In histological study, the anti-inflammatory effects of hydrolyzed products were remarkable at 48 hr and 72 hr compare with nonhydrolyzed. Hydrolyzed products of Gardeniae Frucuts extract containing genipin would be a suitable preparation to increase the transdermal absorption and anti-inflammatory effects.

In the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, The freedom of association, freely common rights, is optional private freedom of association based on liberty from nation's interference·manipulation. This is guaranteed by the principle of free establishment. But, our civil law never allow the principle of free establishment because in the foundation of corporation, our law follow the principle of judging by the law and the principle of law making(5kinds of principles concerning following rules, official authorization, permission, patent, compulsion.).Trade union, worker's randomly organization, is similar to nonprofit private organization founded by Enforcement Decree of the specific Trade union and Labor Relation Adjustment Act, and if you do enrollment of corporation, as a nonprofit organization, this is applied by the rule for private corporation. That is, Trade union is an organization that guarantees worker's independence and democracy that follows the principle of reporting establishment and in the management, this organization has a feature that guarantees the privilege of the right to independent association, the right to collective bargaining and collective action that is stated in the constitution. By the way, in formal, the principle of reporting is forming in the principle of following rules similar to the principle of free establishment. So It looks like that has no problem. But actually, it has a problem by the judging system stated in the specific law, acknowledging the establishment according to the administrative office's free determined action. That's because unlike other ordinary organizations, Trade union is a privileged union that the nation guarantees the common rights about survival, so they ruled particularly. But the purpose of legislating is upgrading worker's living quality by the worker's right to organize and guaranteeing worker's right to live, and in the viewpoint of this purpose, regulating more particularly and harder than the ordinary organizations may be out of step according to the spirit of the constitution. Moreover, in case you didn't receive establishment license by the administrative office, not allowing to use the name of the name of Trade union by regulation is interfering labor union's history, autonomy, independence, and this is the rule that interferes the worker's right to organize, autonomy, self-control and not existing any other developed nations. Therefore the main purpose of this thesis is highlighting the principle of reporting establishment about Trade union's characters and problems, and what the solution is. Except guarantee to the Trade union's right to organize, the common right related to the right to life. 헌법상 자유권적 기본권인 결사의 자유는 임의적인 사적 결사의 자유로서 사회적 집단형성에 대한 국가적 간섭·조작으로부터의 자유를 그 내용으로 하는 것으로 그 설립의 자유가 보장되는 자유설립주의를 취하고 있다. 그러나 우리 민법은 법인설립에 있어서 법정주의를 취하고 있고, 법인설립시 입법주의로는 각 개별법에 따라 준칙주의, 인가주의, 허가주의, 특허주의, 강제주의를 따르고 있어 어떤 경우에도 자유설립주의를 허용하지 않는다. 근로자의 임의단체인 노동조합은 비영리사단으로서의 성격을 가지는 결사체로 특별법인 노동조합 및 노동관계조정법에 의해 설립이 되며, 법인등록을 할 경우 비영리사단법인으로서 법인에 관련된 규정은 민법상 사단법인의 규정을 적용받도록 되어있다. 즉, 노동조합은 근로자들의 자주성과 민주성이 보장되는 임의단체로서 헌법상 자유권적 기본권인 결사의 자유에 의거 근로자들의 자유로운 의사에 따라 설립신고주의를 취하고 있으며, 운영에 있어서는 헌법상 생존권적 기본권인 단결권과 단체교섭권, 단체행동권의 특권을 보장받는 단체로서의 특성을 가지고 있는 단체이다. 그런데, 형식적으로는 이 설립신고주의가 자유설립 주의에 가까운 준칙주의의 형태를 취하고 있어 문제가 없어 보이지만, 실질적으로는 위 특별법에 규정된 결격요건의 실질적 심사제도에 따라 행정관청의 자유재량행위에 의거 설립을 인정하는 허가주의의 성격을 취하고 있어 문제가 있다. 이는 노동조합이 일반단체와 다르게 생존권적 기본권까지 보장받는 특권단체라고 해서 그 설립요건을 까다롭게 규정한 것인데 근로자의 단결권이 근로자의 삶의 질을 향상시키고 근로자의 생존권을 보장하고자하는 데 입법목적이 있음을 살펴 볼 때, 일반단체보다도 더 까다롭고 어렵게 규제를 하는 것은 오히려 헌법정신에 어긋난다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 더욱이, 행정관청에 의해 설립신고증을 교부받지 못할 경우 노동조합의 명칭조차도 사용할 수 없도록 규제하고 있는 것은 노동조합의 역사성과 근로자의 자주성 및 민주성을 침해하는 것으로 심히 우려스러운 발상이 아닐 수가 없으며, 선진국 어디에도 없는 근로자의 단결권 및 자주성과 자율성을 침해하는 규정이 아닐 수가 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 노동조합의 생존권적 기본권인 단결권보장은 논외로 하고 헌법상 자유권적 기본권인 결사의 자유에 대한 관점에서 노동조합 설립신고주의의 성격과 문제점을 조명하고 그 개선방안이 무엇인지를 논구해보고자 한다.
