The purpose of this paper is to develop modified MacPherson strut suspension which minimizes production and transmission of disturbing vibration and force. In this paper, the design of MacPherson strut suspension with carrier is presented and a method for optimizing hard points of modified MacPherson strut suspension is presented using multi body dynamics simulation, ADAMS and VisualDOC. Sensitivity analysis of MacPherson strut suspension with carrier is conducted through the experimental design sensitivity analysis using Plackett-Burman Design. The design variables for SDF(Static Design Factors) are extracted using SQP(Sequential Quadratic Programing) Algorithm in VisualDOC. The results of the optimization showed that the optimized suspension has better performance than the initial design.
