본 논문은 환경문제인식 개선을 위하여 스마트미디어 활용 가능성을 바탕으로 활용 방안을 연구하였다. 스마트폰의 보급과 애플리케이션의 다양화, SNS의 일상화를 통해 스마트미디어는 사용자의 뉴미디어 이용동기를 충족시켜주며 라이프스타일에 많은 영향을 미치는 강력한 개인 미디어로 자리 잡고 있다. 기존에 사용자의 선호도가 높은 애플리케이션의 특징과 사용자 만족요소를 도출하기 위해 오락성, 실용성 애플리케이션 사례를 수집하여 분석하였다. 최종적으로 기술적, 내용적, 서비스적 뿐만 아니라 제도적 보조 측면에서 환경문제인식을 개선하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 스마트미디어는 일방적이거나 일시적인 환경캠페인에서 벗어나 개개인에게 다양한 채널로 인식을 개선하여 실천으로 이어갈 수 있는 강한 동기 부여할 뿐만 아니라 사회적인 순기능을 위해 활용 될 수 있음을 알 수 있다. In this paper, we studied possibility and utilization of smart media to improve environmental awareness. Smart media has been the powerful personalized media and had an strong influence on users’ lifestyle by satisfying users motivation to new media, that are based on prevalence of the smart phones, diversification of the applications and daily use of the SNS(Social Network Service). In order to find the characteristics and the users’ satisfaction factors of the high preference applications, we collected and analysed the examples of entertainment and practicality applications. Finally we suggested the use of the smart media as the part of technique, content, service and institutional assistance to improve the environmental awareness. Smart media can realize the strong motivation that leads each individuals from their improved awareness into practice by the various channels, rather than the one-sided environment campaign, and has the possibility to demonstrate the positive social function.
