저자들은 CUPS에 대한 cisplatin, etoposide, bleomycin으로 화학요법 치료 중 통상성 폐렴이 발생한 1 예를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고자 하는 바이다. We have experienced a Cancer of Unknown Primary Site(CUPS) combined with Usual Interstitial Pneumonia(UIP). We made a diagnosis of CUPS with histochemical study for excisional mass on right posterior neck and left adrenal gland. The histochemical result of CUPS was highly undifferentiated metastatic carcinoma. We started chemotherapy with cisplatin, etoposide, bleomycin. When we finished the four cycles of chemotherapy, the patient complained of dyspnea. After we checked him with pulmonary function test, HRCT and open lung biopsy, we made a diagnosis of UIP. We stopped chemotherapy and treated him with steroid. Bleomycin is used in the cytostatic therapeutic management of a variety of malignant tumors. The development of an interstitial accentuated pulmonary disease is a dreaded complication; this side effect may occur dose-related or not dose-related. So we must be careful in using bleomycin. We reported an experience of UIP which was detected during chemotherapy.

The appearance of human skin is not constant over time. It is changed by several physical factors such as exercising, tanning, and washing. In this paper, we propose a method that can model the appearance of the human face and skin varied over time using the measured data. The proposed method uses a surface reflection model to describe the specular of skin that is dependent on oil or sweat. It adopts diffusion models to represent the translucent of skin affected by melanin and hemoglobin. To model the variation of the appearance over time, we measure the surface reflection and subsurface scattering of skin with an even time interval using an imaged-based measurement device. Based on the measured data, we develop time-varying functions that describe the variation of appearance and improve existing human models by applying the timevarying functions. We validate our method using rendering results for several conditions and simulate the appearance of skin under different conditions by controlling model parameters.

In this paper we propose a real-time method for editing translucent materials. To this end, we first obtain the diffusion profiles of a translucent material based on the diffusion approximation such as the di-pole or multi-pole approximation. We then approximate the diffusion profile with a set of wavelet basis using a non-linear wavelet approximation, which makes our method much more efficient than the conventional low pass filter based method. Aside from this step, we pre-compute the light transport corresponding to each wavelet basis. Finally, we render an image at run-time by performing do product of the wavelet coefficients and the pre-computed light transport. The proposed method enables us to edit all of the optical parameters of a material as scattering, absorption, thickness and the refractive index. Under fixed lighting environment, we are able to edit translucent materials at about 60 frames per second.
