In the case of new buildings in Seoul, buildings are to be designed according to the green building design standards, but data is managed sporadically and some are not collected, so a lot of time and effort is invested in understanding the design green building performance. In the case of existing buildings in Seoul, a number of building energy saving projects such as green remodeling projects are in progress, but there are difficulties in analyzing and managing the actual greenhouse gas reduction effect because the projects are scattered in each department. Therefore, we want to create a management system plan that can systematically manage the entire life cycle of a green building so that it can be effectively managed not only in the design stage but also in the operation stage. Based on this system, it is judged that it will be possible to more effectively secure the performance of green buildings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by establishing a management system in the future.
라그랑지승수(Lagrange multipliers)법을 활용한 건물 에너지 최적화 디자인 도출을 위한 기초연구

Energy consumption of a building mainly depends on how the building architectural design factors are combined. As such, a good combination of these design factors is considerably important for effectively reducing building energy consumption. This means that determining the optimal combination of factors that consume the least amount of energy will require many alternative studies. Nonetheless, it is possible to identify the optimal combination of factors without requiring numerous alternatives by using Lagrange multipliers method in optimization. However, at present, the applicability of this theory should be verified before actively applying it to architectural design. In this study, a basic research is carried out to examine whether the optimal design obtained via Lagrange multipliers method is consistent with the design option identified through numerous alternative simulation studies. To this end, a standard model is established and two variables that affect energy are designed. Experiments 1 and 2 are carried out to identify the optimal design through simulation and the Lagrange multipliers method, respectively, in order to verify the consistency between the two experimental values.

Zero Emission Building is a building which emits virtually '0(zero)' carbon dioxide. Although simple in concept, ZEB requires totally different approach from conventional building in terms of design, engineering, construction and operation. There are few research on ZEB design process as ZEB design requires understanding and knowledge regarding energy and technology. The study aims to propose a design process of Zero Emission Building for architects. The study examined the concept of Zero Emission Building through intensive literature search. The examples of Zero Emission Buildings were investigated, and strategies and technologies applied to the buildings were analyzed. Various conventional design processes were identified and analyzed to examine the applicability to ZEB design, Finally, a new design process which effectively accommodate the requirement of Zero Emission Building was proposed.
