A case of mycosis fungoides in a fourteen months old infant originated from left forearm is reported. Mycosis fungoides, although designated a disease entity by Alibert in 1806, remains a variously defined and poorly understood disease. The term orignially was employed to designate a group of skin diseases characterized clinically by pruritus, raised, indurated, mushroom-like skin tumors and a long duration and characterized histologically by an infiltrate of eosinophiles, plasma cells and atypical reticulum cells with clusters of mononuclear cells in the epidermis. The microscopic findings of this case revealed to the hyperkeratosis and moderate acanthosis associa?ted with the papillomatosis in the epidermis, to the uniform edematous picture and the infiltrate of inflammatory cells in the upper dermis, and to the infiltrate of eosinophile, lymphocyte and reticulum cells consisted of the hyperchromatic nuclei and mitosis in the lower dermis.
Capillaria hepatica 感染白鼠에 있어서 蟲卵抗原을 이용한 酵素免疫測定法(ELISA)에 관한 硏究

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (micro-ELISA) was used to detect the antibodies to Capillaria hepatica with soluble egg antigen (SEA). Antigen was extracted in carbonate buffer(pH 9.6) for 24 hours at 4℃ from embryonated C. hepatica eggs and used in the test with concentration of 1.25 ㎍ protein/ml. Peroxidase conjugated anti-rat immunoglobulins(rabbit) was diluted by 2,000 fold in phosphate buffered saline(PBS/Tween 20, pH 7.4) and sera were used with 1/3,000 dilution. Test results were revealed by absorbance values at 488 nm and the negative threshold was 0.25. A total of 22 white rats (B.W. 150g) was divided into two groups (A, B) and 200 and 2,000 embryonated eggs were infected orally. All rats were bled by retro-orbital puncture pr or to infection and weeks of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 13 after infection. As negative control sera, 30 normal rats were used. Eggs for infection mere cultured at 27 to 29℃ for 4~5 weeks in 0.5% formalin. Micro-ELISA was processed by the modified method of Voller et al. (1974^((38, 39))). The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. Antibodies to Capillaria Iiopatica were detected by micro-ELISA using soluble egg antigen (SEA). 2. Absorbance_(489) values increased in 3 weeks after infection of embryonated eggs, kept until 5 weeks and gradually decreased thereafter when almost sera converted into normal by 13 weeks. 3. Mean absorbance_(488) values of 3, 5, 7, 9 weeks after infection were higher in group B than in group A.

The survey and soil analysis were carried to research the problems on mulberry fields applied glutamic acid fermentation residue fertilizer (GAFRF). Mulberry farmers of 364 from 110 Si or Gun were chosen at random. The results were as follows; 1. Application rate of three elements applied on mulberry field was 25.8-12.8-16 in non·GAFRF using farmers, whereas 9.8-4.5-5.5kg/10a in GAFRF using farmers. 2. Application rate of organic matter applied on mulberry was 1155kg in non-GAFRF using farmers, whereas 329kg/10a in GAPRF using farmers. 3. Farmers of 53% using GAFRF did not applied three elements, 74% of them organic matter and 50% of them both of three elements and organic matter. These figures increased proportionally with application period of GAFRF. 4. The content of organic matter, availeble P2O5, K, Ca, Mg and pH in soil of appling GAFRF farmers was somewhat lower than in soil of non-appling GAFRF farmers.
