      • 幼稚園兒의 社會性 測定 : 晋州·馬山·地域을 中心으로

        This study was carried out, on the assumption that the education in a kindergarten is the first experience' of a formal group education for the children and the important human environment for the development of the sociality, in order to see the structural characteristics of the sociality at the classes in the kindergartens. It was investigated three hundred children, seven of the classes selected from seven Kindergartens, in Jinju and Masan, taking one class from each kindergartens. The results are as follows: (1) How is the selective liking of the friends between male and female? It is distinctly observed the phenomenon of sociometric cleavage between male and female in the classes of the kindergartens, therefore, the trend of the selection of the friend is distinctive among the same sex, (2) Whether the phenomenon of star, isolate, clique, chain and pair occur or not, and how is the phenomenon of the occurence of them? Although the occurence of the superstar is rare but the children, regarded as a star are to become as a leader in the class, without having the strong influence The proportion of isolates is about one forth, in one class. So, the educational and intentional menegement by teacher is demanded for them. For the clique and chain, the formation of clique is rare, but the occurence of the chain is observed frequently It is envied to became one of the clique by the other children and the clique is strongly formed, centering, with the star In the case of the chain, as the many of the chains are concentrated to a star, they form the chains in the type of radiation The paws are occured only four cases in one class, and the selection of friend is only in the same sex (3) How is the degree of cohesion in the group? The average of index of cohesion in the group is showed in the index of the 22% of the low degree, for the many children can not be selected mutually from the children who is selected by himself, and it is because of the egocentrality, the characteristic of the thinking of the children in this age.

      • 幼兒의 交友選好 特性에 관한 硏究

        This study was carried out on the assumption that the education in a kindergarten is the first experience of a formal group education for the children and the important human environment for the development of the sociality, in order to see the characteristics of children's human-relationship at the class. For this survey, 473 kindergarten and Saemaul nursery school children in Taegu, Jinju and Masan area were sampled randomly, 12 classed selected from 9 Kindergartens and 2 Saemaul nursery schools The results of the analysis are as follows: 1) How is the phenomenon of the occurence of star, pair, chains, isolate and rejectee? First, generally the occurence of the star was about over one in each classes. This was caused by the phenomenon that male were generally more than female in the classes and by male's characteristic are active. Second, in pairs case, although male were much more than female in the classes, the female pairs were occured more than male pairs. Third, the proportion of chains were occured about over 1/2 of children, the representative form were connected with three or four children. Fourth, the proportion of isolate were occured about 1/4 of children. Fifth, the proportion of rejectees were occured about 1/5 of children. This many occurences of isolate and rejectee suggests that we must construt more small size class than now, fourty children for effective teaching. 2) How is the trend of the reasons of friend selection and rejection? First, the trend of the reasons of friend selection was not the interior reasons as personality, character, ability and interesting, etc., but the exterior reasons as frequent contact and good apperance. Second, the trend of the reasons of friend rejection was injurious action as beating, extreme play and cross temper.

      • 幼稚園 敎育이 國民學校 敎育에 미치는 影響

        The purpose of this study is to analyse the impacts of kindergarten education on the primary education in our country. The purposes are: 1) What differences could be shown in the achievements of their learning abilities and the characteristics of their behavorial development between the children who had ever received kindergarten education and those who had not, when they were in low grade(the 1st grade) in primary school days? 2) What has become of their characteristics of their learning abilities and their behavioral development of those who had received kindergarten education and those who had not, when they reached higher grade(the 5th grade)? For these purposes, the writer selected and set up two groups of the 6th grade pupils in “S”primary school in Taegu City. One group consisted of 36 children from the middle class who had received kindergarten education and the other were 36 children who had never received it. Each group was controlled according to the factors (variables)-age, sex, intelligence quotient, and their parents' school career. Every statistics was tested by the method of “t”Test (p<.05). The results of this study are as follows: 1) In the achievements of their learning abilities, kindergarten graduates exceeded those who had never kindergarten education in learning Korean language and fine art. Therefore, it can be said that the present kindergarten education in our country has laid too much emphases on teaching children Korean language and fine art. 2) In the characteristics of their social behavioral development, on the laws and orders kindergarten graduates exceed those who had never received kindergarten education, in observing. This result says that the children who had received kindergarten education were more adaptable to their school life, compared with those who had never received it. 3) The subject in which they continuously exceeded those who had never received it, was the fine art, until kindergarten graduates reached high grade(the 5th grade) in primary school. This result approves that the education of creativity is more effective when they are in the early childhood. 4) The characteristics in which they exceeded continuously those who had never received kindergarten education, was the spirit of diligence, until they reached high grade (the 5th grade). This result shows that the children who had received Kindergarten education Kept up constantly more advanced development. Taking into consideration that the spirit of diligence is the behavioral development characteristics which requires for its development much more internalized and long-term efforts, it seems that those who had received Kindergarten education continued to constantly maintain more advanced development.
