家蠶 蛹體의 X-線 照射가 次代에 미치는 效科에 關한 硏究

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of influence on next generation, when original silkworm pupa were treated with X-ray. The obtained results were summarized as follow: 1. Moth emergence from pupae X-rayed was not difference, but the production of eggs and fecundation were decreased in 8kR to 12kR X-ray. 2. The hatching ratio was decreased by incressing of X-ray dose. 3. The duration of larvel stages were similar to those of control in any X-ray dosages. The silkworm growth was uniform in dose of 1-8kR X-ray, while mortality was significantily increased at 12kR and grasserie malfomed and dwarf silkworms observed. 4. Under light exposing, complete cocoon and pupatation ratios were decreased by increasing of X-ray dose and the lowest ratio was appeared in 12kR. 5. The cocoons were uniformness in doses of 1-4kR, but the cocoons were irrugular, or small at 12kR dose. Some large cocoons were found in 1kR low dose of X-ray than those of control. The cocoon form was regular in the dose range of 1-4kR. 6. The result of this research will be helpful for improvement of silkworm breeding and betterment of management of silkworms.
