        물-가스홀 혼합물을 연료로 사용한 가솔린기관의 성능 및 배기성분에 관한 실험적 연구

        Since the energy shock in 1973, there have been wide studies for the developments of the alternative energy source, the rationalization of the energy utilization and the energy economy because of the recognition of the limitation of energy source all over the world. This study is experimentally examined in and compared with the engine performance of output, torque and fuel consumption rate, and the exhaust emissions with the change of engine rmp in the cases of using water-gashol blends, gashol and gasoline as a fuel in a conventional 4 cycle 4 cylinder gasoline engine. In the case of using water-gashol blends, it is installed by the exhaust manifold pipe into the intake manifold, and water is injected from nozzle fitted up the air horn of the carburetor. The results are obtained as follows; 1. In the case of an addition with water, the engine output and the torque are little difference with the case of gasoline. 2. The fuel consumption rate is decreased as compared with the case of gasoline. Especially, the decrease in quantity is remarkable at the low rpm. 3. The exhaust emissions are remarkably decreased as compared with the case of gasoline. Especially, decreases of CO and HC in quantity are remarkable at the low rpm, and a decrease of No/sub x/ in quantity is remarkable at the high rpm. 4. There is a moderate condition of operation because the producing factors of NO/sub x/ and CO, HC are contrary to each other.

      • 디이젤機關의 熱發生率計算에 있어 誤差要因에 對한 硏究

        Diesel engines have been used for the power generation, industry, shipping, and is forth, because of economy and persistence. Combustion analysis is really important in diesel engines. The calculation methods for the rate of heat release depends on the first law of thermodynamics. These have a variety of problems in the technical sense and also have several eror factors in combustion analysis. In this paper, we studies how these error factors give an influence on the accuracy of calculation in the rate of heat release. The results obtained are as follows : 1. the calculation of the rate of heat release is affected by the errors of measurement in crank angle, cylinder pressure, compression ratio, and so forth. 2. Considering the relation between combustion and expansion process, the optimal interval for calculating and reading the indicator diagrams is 1˚ in crank angle. 3. There is no great difference due to the specific heat expressions in calculating the rate of heat release.

      • 디이젤機關의 噴射系의 改善에 關한 硏究

        Development of a high injection rate as a means of meeting emissions and exhaust smoke have researched. This paper describes the investigation into various problems in fuel injection pumps. Specially, cavitation phenomenon in connection with high speed area, instability of engine revolution in connection with low speed area. The method to countermeasure these problems will be reported in relative with injection system. It is shown that the improvement of parts are in reasonably good argument in the experimental observations.

      • 國內 보일러(Boiler)의 妨害對策에 關한 硏究

        Examining and analyzing the obstacles taken place for eight years in our country, we summarize the causes and the counterm-easures as follows ; (A) The Causes Most accidents happened in the no-tested or nun-standized boilers, and on account of careless handling; but comparatively there were only few accidents in the tested high-pressure boilers. (B) The Counter-measures 1. The law of manufacturing, establishing and handling must be much more stricter. 2. The system testing boilers must be scientific. 3. The workers for boilers should be taught of manufacturing, establishing, handling and testing under the obligation; and their qualification improved. 4. The laws by which boilers are handled must be revised to much more stricter ones, and the present system of the liscences revised to the three kinds of them, too. 5. The time-worn boilers must be exchanged by new ones. 6. The boiler manufactory should be systemized, the facilities modernized, and the domestic production of high pressure boilers promoted.

      • 구멍炭화덕 溫突暖房 標準型 開發에 關한 硏究

        By establishing a cultivated Ondol(B) with insulated multicolumn type that channel whose thermal efficieney is excellent according to the references and the standard briquette used Ondol(A) with preheated chamber and secondary air pipe, this experiment was made; and the following is the result. 1. When the air pipe was opened fully the period till changing briquettes at B was 8 hours, while it was 7 hours at A. But by controlling the air through the secondary air pipe, the period was able to be extended to 15 hours. 2. The mean temperature of the floor and the room at A was high than at B by 2.97℃ and 2.22℃ each. 3. The distribution of the isothermal lines were thicker at A than at B and the highly heated area was distributed widely and the warm air reached even to the corner of the Ondol. 4. When briquettes were changed the ignition was done more easily at A and the fire was hardly extinguished.

      • 水冷 4사이클 가솔린 機關의 排氣淨化에 미치는 因子에 關한 硏究(1)

        Examined the mechanism and factors on the harming compositions HC, CO and NO_1 contained in the exhust gas for the study of the factors affected to the purification of the exhust gas from 4 cycle gasoline automobile engine. The effect of HC and CO to the tendency of the decrease are similar, while NO_x are opposite with them and there are many factors which are contrary to each other between in the perfomancy and decreasing tendency of harming composition. The improvement of combustion of the lean mixture gas must be achieved not to be contrary to the advance of the performancy. And the study on this matter will be done experimentally.

        During the economic development plans one of which starts in 1977 as the fourth plan the high economic growth has made the nations's welfare progress, but the pollution caused by the industrious facilities and traffic engines makes the social problems, and the countermeasure for the purification of the automobile exhaust gas of its ringleader must be established urgently ; and so I would play a role in solving the problem. At first I studied the main polluting materials and the countermeasures of the world including our country, and the result can be summarized as follows : We need the government office which will take the responsibility for the protection of the atmosphere and the office shall have to control the limit of restriction severely, and by establishing the organizations to study it jointly in the advanced countries of the world as well as our country, how to cope with the automobile exhaust has should be considered.

      • 鹽化비닐樹指 熔接部의 破壞擧動에 關한 硏究

        Recently, high molecule materials have been used in various fields depending upon their priorities. In particular, thermoplastic, as a part of strengthened materials, have become to use in welded structure. Some researches were carried out by Onishi, Asahara et al. But their experiments about the fracture behavior and crack proapgation were performed upon a macroscopic view point. This study intends to observe the fracture behavior and the microscopic strain cocentration under the static and dynamic stresses, considering the effect of heat treatment by welding heat. 1. The difference of static tensile strength depending upon welding conditions is appeared a little. 2. Tendency of impact strength decreases was observed in accordance with increases of the treatment temperature because of heat effect of parents materials. 3. "A" group of testing materials of welding temperature 200℃, is more sensitive to the effect of heat treatment than "B" group of welding temperature 180℃. 4. It is observed that the fatigue strength has lots of difference by welding conditions and the fatigue strength decreases becomes great on welded testing materials compared with parents materials. 5. The orders of strain concentration ratio of welding parts measured by the strain gauge are followings. 1st. bond portion (A:115%, B:105.1%) 2nd. welded portion (A:113.7%, B:102.9%) 3rd. parents portion (A:100%, B:100%) 4th heat affected zone (A:95.6%, B:88.3%)

      • 우리나라 動力耕耘機의 利用失態 調査分析 및 耐久年限調査

        Surveying and analysing the utility condition, persistent period and attached machineries to be developed, the results as following are obtained. 1. More than half of operators are middle and high-school graduates and they are distributed uniformly among farmers whose farm is small, medium and large. 2. The power tillers are for the transportation and threshing as well as plowing. 3. The power tillers (8 ps, 10 ps made by Dae-dong Co.) whose fuel is petroleum have spread, but we hope the power tillers (10 ps made by Dae-dong Co. and Uj-sin Co.) the fuel of which will be heavy oil will be prepared and it will be necessary that the power tiller the power of which 5~6 ps will be produced for women. 4. The purchased power tillers are reconstructed, and it is hoped that they are made so that they are not reconstructed. 5. Myun(one of the administrative blocks) has to have the service center which will be convenient for the farmers. 6. The persistent period of power tillers decrease in 4 or 6 years and they are repaired very often in 2 or 3 years. 7. It is recommendable that the persistent period will be 5~8 years after purchasing. 8. It is necessary that the power tillers are cheap, and the attached working parts strong and has high efficiency. 9. To make the mechanization of the farming machineries accelerated, the Government must support the producers.
