하계적심처리가 "용택골드"와 "썬골드"복숭아의 과실 특성에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 복숭아 ‘용택골드’와 ‘썬골드’ 품종에서 하계 적심처리가 과실 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해서 수행되었다. 하계적심에 빈도는 과실의 착색에 약간의 영향을 미치기는 하였지만, 과실 착색을 증진한다는 충분한 근거는 찾을 수가 없었다. 반면에 적심처리가 많아질수록, 과실의 품질이 증가되는 양상은 찾을 수 있다. 따라서 5월부터 7월까지의 하계적심 처리는 ‘용택골드’와 ‘선골드’ 복숭아 과실 품질 향상을 위해서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다. This study was carried out to investigate effects of summer pruning on fruit quality of ``Takinosawa Gold’ and ‘Sungold’ peaches. Different frequencies of summer pruning was shown to have little influence on the fruit coloration, but no sufficient evidence was found to support enhancing the fruit coloration. By contrast, it was found that the more summer pruning were, the more fruit quality increased. Hence, summer pruning from May to July may be useful for improving fruit quality of ``Takinosawa Gold’ and ‘Sungold’ peaches.

현재까지 국내에서 아이스와인 생산과 관련하여 연구가 진행된 사례가 없기 때문에, 아이스와인 생산단지를 구축하기 위해서는 우선 강원도 지역 내에서 아이스와인의 생산 가능성과 생산 시 아이스와인 품질 검증을 위한 시범사업의 수행을 도차원에서 관심을 가지고 지원할 필요성이 높은 것으로 판단된다. 강원도에는 포도 육종과 재배 관련 연구 경험이 풍부한 연구팀이 존재하기 때문에, 시범사업이 이루어진다면 이들을 중심으로 아이스와인의 생산가능성이 높은 양조용 포도 품종을 이용하여 농가에서 실증 재배 시험을 진행하도록 해야 할 것이다. 이때 공동연구팀으로서 해당 지역 내에 가공 전문기관을 선정하여 와인가공을 위한 제반시설 도입을 지원하고, 재배연구를 수행하는 연구팀에서 제공하는 재료들을 이용하여 아이스와인 생산 시 최적 가공기법을 규명하도록 해야 할 것이다. 만약 상품성 있는 아이스와인의 생산이 가능하다는 결론에 도달하게 된다면 강원도청과 해당지역이 중심이 되어서 아이스와인 시범사업의 결과를 해당지역 포도 농가에 알리고, 도차원에서 지역특화사업비를 책정하여 생산단지에 참여하기 희망하는 농가와 업체가 큰 어려움 없이 사업에 참여할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 동시에 지원금액과 대상의 확대를 위해서 국가기관 등에서 지원하는 지역특화사업 공모를 통해서 정부지원금 확보에도 힘써야 할 것이다. 또한, 아이스와인 생산단지 구축 초기에 산학연협력 사업의 추진을 통하여 아이스와인 생산 관련 원천 기술을 보유한 재배 및 가공 연구팀의 연구자들이 참여 농가 및 업체를 대상으로 상시적으로 교육과 기술 컨설팅을 수행할 수 있도록 함으로써, 아이스와인 생산단지의 참여자들이 안심하고 사업에 참여할 수 있는 여건을 마련해야 할 것이다. 시범사업을 통해서 규명된 재배와 가공 기술은 점진적으로 해당농업기술센터에 이전 되도록 하고, 일정기간이 지나고 난 이후부터는 해당 지역의 농업기술센터에서 교육을 전담할 수 있게 함으로써 재배부터 생산과정까지 아이스와인이 지속적으로 균일하게 생산될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 아울러, 지자체와 해당군에서는 아이스와인 생산단지가 성공적으로 정착하고 성장 할 수 있도록 직접 또는 잠재적인 소비자들을 대상으로 아이스 와인을 지속적으로 홍보하고 제품에 대한 신뢰성을 심어 줄 수 있도록 아이스와인 관련 체험 프로그램과 관광 상품을 개발해야 할 것이다. 예를 들어 국내에서 경험이 불가능했던 겨울철 포도송이 따기 체험 프로그램, 아이스와인 제조 과정을 상세하게 확인하고 실제 제품을 시음할 수 있는 홍보관 개설, 영월지역에서 어렵지 않게 찾아 볼 수 있는 탄광을 대형 와인저장고로 개조하여 관광코스로의 활용 하는 등의 노력을 행한다면 아이스와인 생산단지의 자생력을 확보하는데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다. 마지막으로 지자체와 해당 군에서는 사업을 경영하고 관리할 수 있는 핵심조직을 구축하고 리더를 육성함으로써 생산단지에 참여하는 구성원들이 중심이 되어서 생산단지가 운영될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 이는 아이스와인 생산단지에서 발생하게 될 문제들을 능동적으로 해결해 줄 뿐만 아니라 지역 구성원의 관점에서 유관사업들에 대해서 보다 깊은 관심을 가지고 접근 할 수 있게 함으로써 아이스와인 생산단지의 지속적 성장과 지역공동체내의 부가가치를 극대화 하는데 도움이 될 것이다. For wine production in Gangwon Province to be possible, the agricultural industry and grape farmers in Gangwon Province must transition to achieve competitiveness. Hence, it is necessary for Gangwon Province to attempt to produce ice wine. As such, we suggest that the Gangwon Province must first determine if the production of high-quality ice wine is possible by conducting a pilot project. If the pilot study yields positive results, Gangwon Province should attempt to produce ice wine. In addition, the local government will need to provide institutional and financial strategies that will enable grape farms to join the ice wine production complex, as well as construct efficient ice wine production and distribution systems. Furthermore, the local government should have representatives in the ice wine production complex. These processes are necessary for successful ice wine production in Gangwon Province.

This study was conducted to select the optimal water spray number for the efficient utilization of a pulsatory direct water spray gun system. In order to accomplish the purpose of this research, we evaluated the impingement forces, according to different power pressures, distances, and water spray numbers per second, using a novel pulsatory direct water spray gun system. Based on the result of the basic test, the power pressure and distance of spray that can expect excellent performance were selected as 2 MPa and 1 m, respectively. Then, the flower and leaf bud thinning rate were investigated with different water spray numbers per second under four different flower developmental stages. The optimal water spray frequency for the use of the pulsatory direct water spray gun system was nine sprays per second at the flowering stage, because it resulted in 80% of the flower thinning rate and less than 8% of the leaf bud thinning rate. These results will be used for field applications, which could contribute to labor savings in peach cultivation.

ABA 처리가 ‘파라다이스’ 포도의 착색과 과실품질에 미치는 영향

‘Paradise’, a triploid grape cultivar, needs application of gibberellin acid in order to induce seedless fruit with large size, which can result in poor berry coloration under unsuitable growth conditions. Global warming leading to warm climates can be one of major reasons to prohibit production of ‘Paradise’ with high quality. Abscisic acid (ABA) is a well-known plant hormone that is related to the maturation of grape berries, and its application can be useful to avoid the problem of poor berry coloration. Hence, this study was conducted to investigate the effect of ABA application on fruit coloration and characteristics in ‘Paradise’ grape cultivar. ABA-treated berries were characterized by superior coloration compared to control berries. In addition, treatment with high concentration of ABA led to better fruit characteristics which result from early maturation. Therefore, ABA application seems to be an effective method for enhancing the fruit color and quality of ‘Paradise’ grape cultivar.

Effect of bagging material on fruit coloration and quality of ``Cheonjungdo`` and ``Sungold`` peaches was studied. Light transmittance of bagging material was in order of Remon paper, Yellow paper, Brown paper, Grey paper and Newspaper. Fruit coloration was not significantly affected by bagging material. Fruit weight and total soluble contents tended to increase by bagging with yellow paper. Hence, it is expected that use of yellow paper while cultivating ``Cheonjungdo`` and ``Sungold`` peaches can be contribute to produce fruits with high quality.
