This study presents the design and manufacture of NCS(New Clutch System), that is a vacuum clutch booster for a vehicle. Since engine torque tends to be increased, manual vehicle clutch load is growing. The objective of this study is to reduce clutch pedal load by using clutch vacuum booster. First, the principle of performance about NCS was addressed to keep studying and analytic of booster and to get the parameter of booster's improvement. Second manufacture of NCS and then dynamic tests was carried. As a result, A decrease of 5kgf pedal load compared with unused booster was achieved. Furthermore, The additional dynamic's Modeling of NCS program by MATLAB make up to for the NCS's control part.

This study presents the design and manufacture of Vacuum Clutch Booster(NCS). Since engine torque tends to be increased, manual vehicle clutch load is growing. The objective of this study is to reduce clutch pedal load by using clutch vacuum booster. First, the principle of performance about Vacuum Booster was addressed to keep studying and analytic of booster and to get the parameter of booster’s improvement. Second modeling using MATLAB and calcuate a result. Third manufacture of NCS and then dynamic tests was carried. Compare dynamic test with MATLAB Simulation. In the middle part of the simulation was not able to get a good result because of vacuum ratio and Reaction DISC part(parameter K). As a result, A decrease of 3.62kgf pedal load compared with unused booster was achieved. Furthermore, The additional dynamic’s Modeling of Vacuum Booster program by MATLAB make up to for the clutch control part.
