엘리트 스포츠지도자의 가치 정향 탐색: 노자(老子)와의 회우(會遇)

목적: 엘리트 스포츠를 교육하는 지도자들에게 요구되는 가치 정향을 탐색함으로써 스포츠 분야에 만연해 있는 여러 문제점에 대한 변화의 실마리를 찾고자 하였다. 방법: 엘리트 스포츠지도자의 교육철학과 추구해야 할 가치 정향에 대해 알아보기 위하여 중국 노자의 「도덕경」 중 본 연구와 관련된 텍스트를 선별해 분석하였고 관련분야의 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 결과: 노자의 사상을 통하여 엘리트 스포츠지도자의 가치 정향을 탐색해 본 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인간중심 사고의 회복을 통하여 지도자와 선수 및 구성원 모두 ‘스스로 그러한(自然)’ 존귀한 존재라는 것을 인식해야 하고, 지도자들은 현장에서 사람 중심의 가치를 실현해야 한다. 둘째, 승리 지상주의는 서로를 적대시하는 적대적 ‘상대성(相對性)’으로 인해 발생하였고, 엘리트 스포츠지도자들은 서로가 서로에게 기대고 의지하며 기다리는 ‘상대성(相待性)’에 대한 가치 정향이 필요하다. 셋째, 노자의 무규정성과 무한성의 사상은 그동안 선수와 지도자와의 관계에서 지시와 복종, 갑과 을이라는 관계를 벗어나 서로에게 영향을 주고 받아서 결국은 본인들에게 ‘돌아오는 관계(返)’라는 것을 인식해야 한다. 결론: 엘리트 스포츠 분야의 구조적인 문제점과 긍정적인 변화의 모색을 위해서 노자의 사상은 엘리트 스포츠지도자가 지녀야 할 가치 정향에 대한 이정표를 제시하는데 근본적인 착안사항을 제공할 수 있다. Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore clues for change in the various problems prevalent in the sport field by examining the value orientation required by elite sport instructors. Methods: In order to identify the educational philosophy of elite sports instructors and the value orientation to be pursued, texts related to this study were selected and analyzed from Lao Tzu"s 「Tao Deokgyeong (Chinese), and a literature analysis in the releavant field was conducted. Results: The results of exploring the value orientation of elite sports instructors through Lao-tzu"s thought are as follows. First, through the restoration of human-centered thinking, all members (i.e., instructors, athletes) need to recognize that they are “self-like” noble beings, and instructors must realize human-centered values in the field. Second, victory supremacy was caused by hostile "relativity" that opposes each other, and elite sports instructors need to have a value orientation toward "relativity" where they lean on, depend on and wait for each other. Third, Lao-tzu"s thought of indefiniteness and infinity should be recognized that the relationship with the athletes and the instructors has been influenced by each other beyond the relationship of instruction and obedience, and eventually returns to them, so-called. ‘return-relationship’. Conclusion: To seek structural problems and positive changes in the field of elite sports, Lao-tzu"s ideology can provide fundamental ideas for presenting a milestone for the value orientation that elite sports instructors should have.

본 연구는 코로나19가 변화시킨 생활 스포츠지도 영역에서 발생하는 새로운 현상들을 중심으로 해당 분야의 관련된 연구 결과들과 제언들을 통해 포스트 코로나 시대 생활스포츠지도자들의 새로운 역할과 과제를 도출하였다. 운동을 지도하는 환경적 요인이 크게 바뀐 상황적 맥락 안에서 생활 스포츠지도자들에게는 다음과 같은 역할이 요구되고 있다. 첫째, ‘엔터테이너 및 크리에이터’로서의 역할이 요구된다. ‘접촉’이 아닌 ‘접속’시대에 필요한 역할이다. 둘째, 다중이 이용하는 퍼블릭 공간에서의 수업보다는 멤버십의 일대일 수업이 주된 흐름이 되는 포스트 코로나 시대에서 스포츠코칭은 ‘개인화’라는 맞춤식, 개별적 특성에 맞는 지도가 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 생활스포츠지도자들은 ‘얼리 어답터’로서의 역할을 수행해야 한다. 코로나19가 만들어 놓은 환경적 변화의 흐름 속에서 생활스포츠지도자는 학습자가 스포츠를 다양하게 향유하고 스포츠리터러시를 배양하도록 ‘스포츠 멘토’로서의 역할을 해야 한다. The purpose of this study is to derive the new roles and tasks of life sports instructors in the post-corona era through relevant findings and suggestions related to changes in life sports instruction as a result of COVID-19. Within the context of a significant change in environmental factors guiding exercise, life sports instructors are required to play the following roles. First, roles as ‘entertainers and creators' are required. This is a necessary role in the era of ‘connection' rather than ‘contact'. Second, in the post-corona era, where one-on-one membership classes are the main trend rather than classes in public spaces used by the general population, sports coaching should be provided under the concept of ‘personalization’ tailored to the individuals’ characteristics. Third, sports instructors must fulfill their role as ‘early-adopters'. Amid the flow of environmental change created by COVID-19, life sports instructors should serve as ‘sports mentor’ to encourage learners to enjoy sports in a variety of ways and cultivate sport literacy.
