植物凝集素 Sophola japonica에 의한 個人識別에 關한 硏究
韓元坤,黃迪駿 고려대학교 의과대학 1992 고려대 의대 잡지 Vol.29 No.1
Some extracts of certain plants harbor the substance that agglutinates human red blood cells, called phytagglutinin, PHA. These PHAs react only with specific types of red blood cells, so that type specific PHAs are called lectin. They have been used for the classification or typing of blood or body fluids. Hemagglutinin activities were tested for the extract obtained from Sophola japonica. In order to classify the human saliva and urine, agglutination inhibition tes. was performed, using a phytagglutinin, Sophola japonica. The results obtained can be summerized as follows: 1. Human saliva can be divided into two groups by the agglutinin activities of Sophola japonica extract to human red blood cell ; One group named Sa-ISJ (Saliva Inhibitor to agglutination of Sophola japonica) was inhibited and the other Sa-NSJ (Saliva Non-inhibitor to agglutination of Sophola japonica)was not. The frequency of the former was 34.1% (140) and the latter was 65.9% (270) among the 410 human saliva tested. 2. It was demonstrated that there was close relationship between Sa-ISJ and ABO, H, and CI blood types. 3. SA-ISJ type showed close relation with the known type of secreteor saliva. 4. Human urine can be divided into two groups by the agglutination activities of Sophola japonica extract to human blood cells ; One group named U-ISJ (Urine Inhibitor to agglutination of Sophola japonica) was inhibited and the other U-NSJ (Urine Non-inhibitor to agglutination of Sophola japonica) was not. The frequency of former was 17.3% (71) and the latter was 82.7% (339) among the 410 human urine tested. 5. There was no constant relationship between the saliva types and the urine types which were divided by Sophola japonica extracts. 6. The agglutination activities of Sophola japonica extracts to human red blood cells were inhibited by all 410 human sera tested. 7. The intensity and frequency of agglutination inhibition status of Sophola jponica extracts were in the order of the human sera, saliva and urine. Therefore, newly classified saliva types and urine types by agglutination or agglutination inhibition of Sophola japonica extracts may be applicable for the individual identification in the medicolegal field by the connection with known typing of blood or body fluid.
