Height sensor is used in many vehicle suspension system.. This paper presents a method to diagnose height sensor fault for Electronic Air Suspension System. This approach is assuming that height sensors are attached at 4 corners of vehicle body and a sensor fault occurs at one of 4 height sensor. In this paper, fault detection performed only with height sensors and fault isolation with the roll angle and pitch angle which might be estimated using other sensors such as acceleration sensor. yaw rate sensor, wheel speed sensor. The fault detection and isolation method proposed in this paper are verified by the simulation.

In this paper, an optimized c code is developed by an automatic code generation method for an electronically controlled air suspension system. The MATLAB/Simulink, the standard simulation tools from the MathWorks, is used to develop control algorithm. And the dSPACE’s TargetLink is used to convert the developed control algorithm into an optimized c code. At first, the electronically controlled air suspension system and the control algorithm is introduced and then the process to develop the c code using the TargetLink is described. After that, the produced c code is verified by the three simulation modes, MIL(Model-in-the-loop), SIL (Software-in-the-loop), PIL (Processor-in-the-loop). At last, the test results of the c code through the real vehicle test are represented and analysed.
