Generally, the pressure drop for a pipe flow is a function of flow velocity because it is affected by friction factor through a tube surface. In this study, the property relationship between Reynolds number and friction factor was investigated by measuring the liquid flow velocity, which in turn changes the Reynolds number for the system. Friction factor is important property for many applications such as a pipe-flow in oil industries and a water transport line in dessert. Tap water and 10, 20, 30 weight percent sugar solution were used for experiments. The 30 weight percent sugar solution was mainly used to draw a conclusion. As a result, the friction factor shows a following relation: f=85.184 × Re-1.0936. This final correlation can be used for transition region only because it deviates a lot for the other regimes and because we had difficulty in obtaining data points for the other regimes.
