This study aims to investigate into the relationship between cyclist`s degree of satisfaction and concentration in training based on types of trainer`s leadership. To achieve this purpose, this study targets 220 numbers of men, 75 numbers of women, as total of 295 from cycling athletes in high school, college and corporation, who are registered in Korea Cycling Federation. This study set background variables in gender, position and sports career, independent variables in types of leadership, and dependent variables in the degree of cyclist`s satisfaction and concentration in training. As calculating tools for specifying the type of leadership, LSS(Leadership Scale for Sports) has been used, which was developed by Chelladurai and Saleh(1978) as it has also been applied to the case of Kim Byung Hyun`s in 1990. The degree of cyclist`s satisfaction has been calculated by using the amended questionnaire of Chelladurai(1984), Widmeyer and Williams(1991)`s. ESCM(Expansion of the Sport Commitment Model), which was created by Scanlan(1993), has been applied into this study in its adapted form of questionnaire developed by Jeong Yong-Gak(1997). The statistic specification of demography in background variables was produced in N(number of cases) and Average in Percentage(%) to recognize the general trend of data gained in this study. Independent T Verification has been practiced to find out the difference among the types of leadership, the degree of cycling athlete`s satisfaction, and the degree of the concentration in training. After-Fact Verification has been practiced after The Analysis of One Way-ANOVA was done to find out the difference among types of leadership based on sports career and position, the degree of cycling athlete`s satisfaction, and the degree of the concentration in training. Conclusions are produced as below after Standard Multiple Regression Analysis has been practiced to figure out the relationship between cyclist`s degree of satisfaction and concentration in training based on types of trainer`s leadership First. There are statistically meaningful differences in the type of democratic leadership and the type of social leadership among low level components in types of leadership based on the degree of athlete`s satisfaction (the satisfaction of achieving tasks), as following types of leadership. Second, All low-level components in types of leadership do not show meaningful differences in the degree of the concentration in training (the degree of cognitive concentration, the degree of the concentration in behavior), as following types of leadership.
