Optimal Measuring Point Considering Welding Distortion

In this paper, optimal sensor placement that consider in-plane distortion and out of plane distortion would be suggested. Discrete Fourier transform is conducted to deformed data from simulated product. The candidate sensor points are determined by nyquist frequency theorem. The Fisher information matrix is generated by data from candidate sensor points and using its determinant and genetic algorithm, optimal sensor points are selected. Deformed shapes are reconstructed from data of optimal sensor points. The MAC gives similarity of original data and reconstructed data.
