한국과 중국의 사교육 연구동향 비교분석 : 2000년~2017년을 중심으로

본 연구는 2000년부터 2017년까지 한국과 중국에서 수행된 사교육과 관련된 문헌 1,065편을 연구대상, 분석데이터, 연구방법, 학문분야, 연구주제 등 5개의 범주로 분류하고, 비교분석함으로써 양국의 사교육 연구발전에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구대상은 두 나라 모두 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학생이 가장 많고, 유아는 한국이, 대학생은 중국이 더 많았다. 둘째, 분석데이터는 개인이 수집한 자료가 가장 많이 활용되었으며, 국가차원의 대규모 데이터가 한국에서는 2000년부터, 중국에서는 2005년부터 사용되었다. 셋째, 연구방법은 양적연구의 경우, 한국에서 중국보다 고급 통계분석을 활용한 연구가 더 많이 수행되었고, 질적연구의 경우, 한국보다 중국에서 철학적 사변적(思辨的)시각으로 심층적인 연구가 더 많이 수행되었다. 넷째, 학문분야는 두 나라 모두 교육학에서 가장 많은 연구가 수행되었지만 한국이 중국보다 더 다양한 학문분야에서 연구가 수행되었다. 다섯째, 연구주제는 두 나라에서 사교육 현황 및 실태, 참여요인, 효과, 사교육 대책, 학원, 공교육과 사교육, 세계 사교육 등 다양하다. 하지만 사교육 효과, 사교육대책, 학원, 공교육과 사교육 연구는 한국에서, 세계 사교육 연구는 중국에서 더 많이 수행되었다. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions for private tutoring research in Korea and China by identifying the trends of private tutoring literature conducted in both countries from 2000 to 2017, and also analyzing their similarities and differences. In order to achieve such goals, we compared the study trends by analyzing the subject of studies, data analysis, research methods, and academic field of study. and the topics of studies. Conclusions and implications based on the study results are as follows. First, private tutoring studies should be expanded to include infants and college students as well as elementary, middle and high school students. Second, China should recognize private tutoring as a national task, The government should take the initiative in building large-scale national-level data for private tutoring studies. Third, The research related to private tutoring should be conducted in depth using qualitative research methods as well as quantitative research methods. Fourth, China should conduct research in a wider range of academic fields, and the Chinese government should create an academic environment in which private tutoring studies can be actively conducted. Finally, private tutoring studies in both countries should be conducted on a variety of topics. China needs to consider the economic dimensions, as well as the characteristics of school education, education policies and social awareness. It would also be meaningful if more studies on international private tutoring in Korea were carried out, it would help in identifying the trends of private tutoring all over the world and present a balanced view of private tutoring.
