캐릭터 스토리텔링을 적용한 캐릭터 테마파크 체험프로그램 개선방안 연구 : 코코몽 에코파크 사례를 중심으로
시대 흐름에 따라 물질문화뿐만 아니라 정신문화에 대한 욕구도 절실하고 있다. 이 같은 대중들의 욕구를 만족시키기 위해 테마파크는 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 캐릭터 테마파크는 테마파크의 한 분류이다. 캐릭터 테마파크는 캐릭터를 테마로 경관, 건축, 공연, 체험프로그램 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 가지고 있고 파크 공간에서 캐릭터 세계를 조성하여 전체적인 오감체험을 제공하는 장소이다. 캐릭터는 정보 교류, 가치 교환의 중요한 매개체이다. 문화와 산업의 결합으로서 캐릭터는 세계 새로운 경제경쟁 양식의 하나가 되었다. 국내 출산율 저하로 인해 가족에서 어린이의 영향력이 커지면서 어린이를 주요 목표 수용자로 하는 캐릭터 테마파크가 최근 급성장하고 있다. 하지만 현재 상황을 보면 한국 캐릭터 테마파크의 발전 문제들이 점차 드러나게 되고 있다. 이에 따라 경기도 용인시에 있는 코코몽 에코파크를 연구 대상으로 선정하여 캐릭터 테마파크 실제 체험에 관한 문제점을 분석하고 문헌연구, 벤치마킹과 심층조사를 통해 개선 방안을 제시하려고 한다. 본 논문은 어린이 캐릭터 테마파크의 체험프로그램 개선에서 캐릭터 스토리텔링의 역할과 기능에 대한 연구이다. 어린이 캐릭터 테마파크 체험프로그램의 개선과 기획을 모색하고 체험프로그램의 내용을 풍부하게 하며 캐릭터 테마파크의 캐릭터 스토리텔링 활용의 중요성도 제시하였다. 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 제시하였다. 첫째, 캐릭터 기능은 체험요소에 영향을 준다. 캐릭터 성과, 캐릭터 행동과 캐릭터 능력은 캐릭터 기능성을 구성되어 있다. 세 가지는 캐릭터 기능에 독립적으로 영향을 주는 것이 아니라 서로 영향을 주는 것이다. 그 결과는 캐릭터 능력은 인지적 체험, 감각적 체험과 행동적 체험에 영향이 있다. 캐릭터 행동은 감성적 체험에 영향을 준다. 캐릭터 성과는 인지적 체험과 행동적 체험에 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 캐릭터의 매력성은 체험요소에 영향을 준다. 캐릭터 유사성, 캐릭터 차별성과 캐릭터 고품격은 캐릭터 매력성을 구성하고 있다. 세 가지는 서로 영향을 주는 보다 캐릭터 매력성에 직접적인 영향을 준다. 그 결과는 캐릭터 유사성이 감성적 체험과 관계적 체험에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타날 수 있다. 캐릭터 차별성은 인지적 체험에 영향을 준다. 캐릭터 고품격은 인지적 체험과 행동적 체험에 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 벤치마킹 사례 분석 결과와 시사점을 토대로 코코몽 에코파크 캐릭터의 활용 부족한 현황을 나타날 수 있다. 캐릭터 테마파크로서 코코몽 에코파크의 캐릭터 개발의 중요성을 고려해 볼 것을 권장한다. 캐릭터 스토리텔링 기법을 통해 코코몽 에코파크에서만 체험할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발한다. As time goes by, not only material culture but also mental culture is desperately needed. To satisfy the public's needs, theme parks are developing rapidly. Character theme parks are a kind of theme parks. Character Theme Park has a variety of contents such as scenery, architecture, performances, and experience programs under the theme of characters, and provides a total five senses experience by creating a character world in the park space. Characters are important intermediaries of information exchange and value exchange. As a combination of culture and industry, characters have become one of the new styles of economic competition in the world. Character theme parks with children as key target inmates have recently been rapidly growing as children's influence in families has grown due to the falling birthrate in Korea. However, the current situation reveals the development problems of Korean character theme parks. Accordingly, Cocomong Eco Park in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, will be selected as a research subject to analyze problems related to the actual experience of character theme parks and suggest ways to improve them through literature research, benchmarking and in-depth research. This thesis is a study of the role and function of character storytelling in improving experience programs in children's character theme parks. We suggested the importance of using character storytelling in character theme parks, seeking improvement and planning of children's character theme park experience programs, and enriching the contents of experience programs. Through our analysis, we present the following findings. First, the functionality of the cartoon character has an impact on the experience elements. Character performance, character behavior, and character capabilities consist of character functionality. The three do not independently affect the functionality of the cartoon image, but affect each other. The results show that character affects cognitive, sensory, and behavioral experiences. Meantime, the character behavior influences emotional experiences. We also found that character performance affects cognitive and behavioral experiences. Second, the charm of character has an impact on experience elements. Character similarity, character differentiation, and character high quality make up character attractiveness. The three of them could more directly effect on character attractiveness, which effect each other. The results show that the character similarity affects emotional and relational experiences, the character differentiation affects cognitive experiences, and the character quality affects cognitive and behavioral experiences. Third, based on the results and enlightenment of benchmark case analysis, the current situation of insufficient use of the characters of Cocomong Eco Park is analyzed. As a character theme park, it is recommended to consider the importance of Cocomong Eco Park characters development. Through character storytelling techniques, it develops a program that can only be experienced at Cocomong Eco Park.
