As greater demands are placed on silent operation on electric devices, the need to understand the mechanism of electric motors, the embedded bearing and the control strategy are becoming more important. Recently NVH technology is improved rapidly and applied in all kinds of industries including automobile and electric appliances. Therefore bearing vibration and noise is stood out with neighboring components are much silencer. Herein the noise and vibration characteristics of ball bearings are investigated for each failure patterns and the analytical methods and numerical calculations are validated by experimental results for application. For this research, vibration and acoustical device like accelerometer, impact hammer, microphone and frequency analyzer are used and statistical analysis program is implemented.
