개혁주의생명신학의 “헥사메론”연구 -유신론 과학의 창세기 1장 해석에 대한 비판적 연구

본 논문은 유신론적 과학이 창세기 1장의 ‘6일 창조’(헥사메론)를 해석하는 입장들에 대해 개혁주의생명신학의 관점에서 비판적으로 연구하였다. 결론적으로 창세기 1장의 ‘6일 창조’를 문자적인 의미로 이해해야 한다는 주장을 제시하였다. 즉 창세기 1장에 따르면 하나님께서 24시간-하루 의미의 6일 동안 천지를 창조하셨다. 본 논문이 중점적으로 다룬 유신론 과학은 복음주의 진영에 속한 ‘젊은 지구창조론’과 ‘오랜 지구창조론’이다. 두 학파는 헥사메론에 대해서 서로 다른 입장을 취하고 있다. 젊은 지구창조론은 헥사메론을 문자적으로 해석해서 하나님께서 세상을 24시간-하루-6일 동안 창조하셨다는 전통적인 해석을 따른다. 반면 오랜 지구창조론은 헥사메론을 비문자적으로 해석해서 오랜 기간 동안에 이루어진 창조에 대한 상징적인 표현이라고 주장한다. 결론적으로 본 논문은 젊은 지구창조론의 입장을 지지하여 창세기 1장의 헥사메론을 문자적으로 해석해야 한다고 주장한다. 이러한 결론에 이르기 위해 연구를 진행하였다. 역사적 연구를 통해서 교회가 전통적으로 헥사메론을 문자적으로 해석해왔다는 사실을 밝혔다. 다음으로, 본문 연구를 통해서 헥사메론을 문자적으로 해석해야 함을 밝혔다. 특별히 ‘날’을 뜻하는 히브리어 단어 ‘욤’(yom)은 24시간-하루 의미로 단순하게 이해해야 하는 단어임을 밝혔다. 다음으로, 신학적 연구를 통해서 헥사메론에 대한 문자적 해석은 전통적인 기독교 교의였음을 밝혔다. 이상의 연구를 통해서 헥사메론에 대한 문자적 해석 전통을 옹호할 수있었다. 이 전통을 옹호하는 것은 과거의 신앙을 답습하는 것이 아니다. 도리어 현재의 기독교적 학문 영역과 교회 공동체에 기여를 한다. 특히 헥사 메론에 대한 문자적 해석을 옹호함으로 오래 동안 분열된 유신론 과학계의 연합을 위한 실마리를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문은 무엇보다 ‘오직 성경’의 개혁주의 원리를 실천할 수 있다. 특히 과학의 영역에서도 이 개혁주의 원리는 적용되어야 한다. This article studies about theistic science translation of Genesis Chapter One’s ‘six days of creation’(hexaemeron) in a perspective of Reformed Life Theology with criticism. As a conclusion, I am proposing that hexaemeron need to be translated into literal exegesis. God had created the world in six days with 24 hours a day, as Genesis chapter one says. This article is mostly centered with Young Earth Creationism and Old Earth Creationism, which camps in Evangelism. These two schools have different positions about hexaemeron. Young Earth Creationism translates hexaemeron that God created the world in six days with 24 hours a day with a literal exegesis to the tradition. However, Old Earth Creationism translates the creation with non-literal exegesis and claims that the world was created for a long time and it’s only symbolic. As a conclusion, this article proposes that hexaemeron needs to be translated into literal exegesis. For this propose, I have processed researches: I talks how the church has been translating hexaemeron through historical studies and literal exegesis traditionally. And, I have made it clear that hexaemeron needs to the translated by literal exegesis. Especially, the word that means ‘day’ is from a Hebrew word ‘yom’ which means 24 hours per day. And then, I have also made it clear by theological study that literal exegesis of hexaemeron is a traditional Christian doctrine. Through these studies, you should agree the tradition exegesis of hexaemeron. Agreeing this tradition doesn’t mean that you are following the old faith simply. However, it is contributing the church and the domain of knowledge. By following the literal exegesis of hexaemeron, you can provide the clue to the alliance of theistic science. Most of all, you can practice the Reformation principle of ‘sola scriptura’. This principle must be also practiced in Science, especially.
