남녀 청소년의 부모ㆍ친구ㆍ교사애착과 학교생활적응이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 남ㆍ여 청소년에 따라 부모ㆍ친구ㆍ교사와의 애착관계와 학교생활적응이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 한국청소년패널조사 3차년도 중2패널(2006년 조사)에 참여한 3,499명 - 현재 고등학교 1학년 - 학생들로 하였다. 이 중에서 분석에 사용된 데이터는 남녀 성별에 있어 결측값이 나타난 학생을 제외한 남학생 1,572명, 여학생 1,553명이다. 연구 결과 남ㆍ여학생 모두 부모ㆍ친구ㆍ교사와의 애착은 학교생활적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 여학생의 경우 학교생활적응과 부모애착만이 진로성숙에 영향을 미치고, 남학생의 경우는 학교생활적응, 부모애착, 친구애착이 진로성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학교생활적응을 매개변수로 보았을 때 남학생의 경우 교사애착이, 여학생의 경우 교사애착과 친구애착이 진로성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 본 연구에서 관심을 가지고 살펴 본 학교생활적응은 남ㆍ여학생 집단 모두에서 진로성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 진로성숙과 관련한 연구에서 학교생활에 대해 학업성적뿐만 아니라 학교생활 만족과 적응 등 폭넓은 접근이 필요함을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the high school students’ influence of attachment to parents, teachers, friends, and their adaptation to school life on their career maturity based on gender. The original sample had 3,499 participants. This study analyzed 3,125 cases, 1,572 from males and 1,553 from females. A structural equation model used attachment to parents, teachers and friends as independent variables, adaptation to school life as a mediating variable and career maturity as the dependent variable. It was found that for both male and female students, attachment to parents, teachers and friends positively influenced adaptation to school life. However, as was proposed, the gender difference was confirmed in the findings. In female students, only attachment to parents and adaptation to school life were the factors that positively affected career maturity, while in male students, attachment to friends was also a significant factor. In addition, this study considered the mediating effect of adaptation to school life. In female students, attachment to teachers and friends had a positive impact on career maturity, whereas in male students, only attachment to teachers significantly influenced career maturity. The adaptation to school life was substantiated to have had a significantly positive effect on career maturity in both female and male students. Thus, this study recommends future studies to consider adaptation to and satisfaction with school life as important factors for improving the career maturity of high school students.
