When CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) composite thin-walled members are subjected to axial crushing loads, the response is complex and depends on the interaction between the different mechanisms that control the crushing process. In this study, it was conducted to determine whether the energy-absorption capability of CFRP composite tubes is a function of interlaminar number and orientation angle of outer. Tubes are composed of 4 types interlaminar number(k = 2, 3, 6 and 7) and included ply orientation angle of outer was 0 and 90. The collapse characteristics and energy absorption have been examined for various tubes. The results have been varied significantly as a function of ply orientation and interlaminar number
