This study is concerned with franchising renewals in the Korean food industry. The purpose of this study is to identify the franchise industry, characteristics and present ways for invigorating the Korean food franchise industry. The research model is composed of three major sets of variables : the attributes of franchise selecting as the independent variable, trust and commitment as mediating variables, and recontracting intentions as the dependent variable. The verification of hypotheses is summarized as follows: first, business possibility, recognition degree, sales supporting, and management service of the head office has positive influence to franchisee``s trust. Second, business possibility, recognition degree, and standardization has positive influence to franchisee``s commitment. Third, franchisee``s trust has positive influence to franchisee``s commitment. Fourth, franchisee``s trust has positive influence to recontracting intentions. Fifth, franchisee``s commitment has positive influence to recontracting intentions. In conclusion, a franchiser needs to analyze the pros and cons of the standardization in order to increase franchisee trust along with varied menu development and enhanced support services. Second, a franchiser should build an ongoing supporting system and be aware of the importance of supervisor roles especially for the member stores in high risk. More importantly, mutual agreement rather than the vertical relationship of support and control should be guaranteed to induce a win-win strategy in a competitive market.

This paper is based on the growth tend of Chinese inbound tourism income, and predicts Chinese inbound tourism income in the next five years(from 2012 to 2016). In order to achieve this objective, we did analysis of ARIMA time series. Based on the predictive results of ARIMA model, the improvement issues and suggestions of inbound tourism industry are as following: Firstly, in order to maintain the foreign tourists, we need to improve basic tourist facilities. Secondly, in order to expand the tourism revenue by maintaining the foreign tourists, it is necessary to carry out policies to maintain and develop overseas tourists. Thirdly, in order to maintain the marketing portion of foreign tourists, it is necessary to promote shopping trip and develop national competitive travel products.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of quality attributes of Gyeongpo Summer Festival on the overall satisfaction from visitors, comparing the results from Three-Factor Theory and Two-Factor Theory of Satisfaction based on multi-regression model. The Two-Factor Theory shows the findings that quality attributes such as programs, information, facilities and regional identity have affirmative effects upon overall satisfaction. However, the Three Factor Theory represents the symmetric consequences that performance factors such as programs are not only affirmative and but also negative upon overall satisfaction, and the asymmetric ones that excitement factors such as facilities have no negative effects, while basic factors such as information and district identity are only negative. Therefore, in order to increase the overall satisfaction, it is necessary to construct the program which is the performance factor interestingly, and to minimize the discomfort of basic factors(performance information, regional identity), and to take measures to feel joy of excitement factors(facility environment).

This study explored the relations among GRDP, types of restaurants, and status of employees from the perspective of elasticity, ceteris paribus, in order to identify employment elasticity in food industry in Gangwon province. First, the results of the analysis implied that as GRDP increased by 1%, employment elasticity in food industry increased inelastically by 0.451%. In the food industry, Korean restaurants showed inelastic increase by 0.546% while Western restaurants indicated inelastic decrease by -0.372%. Second, the results from analyzing the status of employees in food industry, indicated that with an increase in GRDP, temporary employees and own-account workers increased by 1.598% and 0.501%, respectively, while regular employees decreased by -0.217%. Third, the findings also revealed that in Korean restaurants, temporary employees and own-account workers increased by 1.882% and 0.585%, respectively; in Chinese restaurants, temporary employees increased by 1.662% while regular employees decreased by -0.568%; in Japanese restaurants, temporary employee increased by 1.259%; in Western restaurants, regular employees and own-account workers decreased by -0.913% and -0.388%, respectively, while temporary employees increased by 0.456%.

The purpose of this study was to analyzed the influencing relationship among traits of local foods in Winter Olympic Special Zone, formation factors of switching barriers on consuming behavior and economical benefits on olympic venue. Based on this consequence, there can be methods to differentiate local foods and build a switching barriers, then it can vitalize local economy. The results of empirical analysis are as follows, First, uniqueness and healthiness factors as a trait of local food causes positive correlation between the formation factor of switching barriers and the economical benefits. Second, style factor as a trait of local food doesn``t influence positive correlation between the formation factor of switching barriers and the economical benefits. Third, the formation factors of switching barrier are positively corre-lated with economical benefits. As a result, tourism development and commercialization of local foods menu is considering the inherent characteristics to improve the service, the food should be developed the design for globalization.
