코로나19 상황이 전업 주부에게 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 상황이 가사 및 육아 등을 담당하고 있는 전업 주부에게 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 서울 및 경기 지방에 거주하며, 초등학교 자녀를 둔 전업 주부 8명이 모집되었고, 2020년 7월부터 10월까지 면담을 통해 자료 수집하였으며, Giorgi의 현상학적 방법으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과, 코로나19에 관한 주부의 경험은 ‘반응’의 ‘어색함’, ‘불안 및 두려움’, ‘현상’의 ‘자녀교육에 대한 걱정’, ‘대부분의 시간을 집에서 소비’, ‘가계 경비의 증가’, ‘운동부족’, ‘소진’의 ‘육아 및 가사노동’, ‘가족구성원의 마찰’, ‘바람’의 ‘희망’, ‘프로그램’ 등의 총 4개의 본질적 주제 및 10개의 드러난 주제로 나타났다. 결론적으로 코로나19는 누구에게나 힘든 경험이다. 따라서 이를 현명하게 이겨낼 수 있는 다양한 방안에 대한 연구들이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 또 다시 반복될 수 있는 비슷한 상황에 대비하고, 우리 삶의 가장 기본 요소인 가정을 책임지고 있는 주부에 대한 심리 상담 및 지원 등에 관한 시사점을 제공하는데 의미를 둔다. The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and nature about housewife experience of COVID-19. The subjects of this study were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 housewives who have children and analyzed by phenomenological research. As a result of the analysis, there was four essential themes and ten exposed themes. First, the reaction of the COVID-19 were ‘awkward’, and ‘anxiety.’ Second, the phenomena of the COVID-19 were ‘worry about child education’, ‘spent most of the time at home’, ‘increased household expenses’, and ‘lack of exercise.’ Third, exhaustion of the COVID-19 were ‘child care and housework’, and ‘friction between family members.’ Fourth, the wish of the COVID-19 were ‘hope’, and ‘program.’ In conclusion, the COVID-19 is a difficult experience for anyone. Therefore, studies on various ways to overcome this situation wisely are needed. To this end, this study is intended to prepare for similar situations that can be repeated again, and to provide implications for psychological counseling and support for housewives who are responsible for the family as the most basic element of our lives.
