코로나19 상황이 전업 주부에게 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and nature about housewife experience of COVID-19. The subjects of this study were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 housewives who have children and analyzed by phenomenological research. As a result of the analysis, there was four essential themes and ten exposed themes. First, the reaction of the COVID-19 were ‘awkward’, and ‘anxiety.’ Second, the phenomena of the COVID-19 were ‘worry about child education’, ‘spent most of the time at home’, ‘increased household expenses’, and ‘lack of exercise.’ Third, exhaustion of the COVID-19 were ‘child care and housework’, and ‘friction between family members.’ Fourth, the wish of the COVID-19 were ‘hope’, and ‘program.’ In conclusion, the COVID-19 is a difficult experience for anyone. Therefore, studies on various ways to overcome this situation wisely are needed. To this end, this study is intended to prepare for similar situations that can be repeated again, and to provide implications for psychological counseling and support for housewives who are responsible for the family as the most basic element of our lives.
