전상린,주정치기 (酒井治己) ( Sang Rin Jeon,Sakai Harumi ) 한국하천호수학회 1984 생태와 환경 Vol.17 No.1·2
Two species of the genus Tribolodon(Cyprinidae), T. hakonensis(Gu¨nther, 1880) and T. brandti(Dybowskii, 1872), were collected from 25 stations on 24 rivers out of 43 sampling stations on 38 rivers flowing into the east and south sea of Korea. These two speciea are distinguished mostly by the character state of the cephalic lateral-line system, spawning color patern, and some meristic characters. The rivers from which the two species were newly recorded are Chinkyo river, Chintong river, Hoeya river, Yongtok-Oship river, Songchon river, Kakok river, My ngpa river and Songhy n river for T. hakonensis, and Chuksan river, Kungchon river and Songch n river for T. brandti. Reviewing the systematics of T. brandti, the authors suggested that the frequently employed name taczanowskii was a synonym of the initiative name brdndti. New Korean name Taewhango was proposed for T. brandti, and the traditional name Whango was restricted to T. hakonensis.

Morphological characteristics of the eight barbel loach, Lefua costata, from the Samsan-river is examined. This is the first record of Lefua costata not only from this river but from the rivers flowing into the Southern part of West Sea, Korea. Lefua costata is classified into Noemacheilinae of Cobitidae as usual.

전상린,손영목 ( Sang Rin Jeon,Yeong Mok Son ) 한국하천호수학회 1983 생태와 환경 Vol.16 No.1·2
To clarify the ditributional districts, the authors have surveyed the micro-distribution of the Gobiobotia naktongensis Mori from Korea. And the results are as follows; 1. The authors have collected Gobiobotia naktongensis in the Euiryeong Gun, Habcheon Gun and Jinju City of the Naktong River, and Cheongwon Gun of the Miho River, tributary of the Geum River. In the collection of this species from Miho River is the first collection in the Geum River. 2. Above results did not agree with the studies of ditributional ditrict of Korean fresh-water fishes by Mori(1936) and Jeon(1980). Therefore there should be many studies and exeminations about the micro-distribution of Korean fresh-water fishes. 3. There should be many surveyes to clarify the ecological features about the Gobiobotia naktongensis Mori.

This paper described the micro-distribution of sympatric Chaenogobius urotaenia, Chaenogobius sp. MR and Chaenogobius sp. BW at six stations in the Hosan-river June, 1996. Of these three taxa, Chaenogobius sp. MR inhabited in rapids of the river, but Chaenogobius urotaenia and Chaenogobius sp. BW were distributed in the edge of the river.

To clarify the structures and functions of ecosystem and to establish the methods of conservations of natural resource of the Mt. Kyebang area, the author surveyed the aquatic environments and freshwater fish fauna at 8 stations from May 10 to Aug. 20, 1993. The results are as follows; 1. It was confirmed that all of the surveyed stations are mountain valley of rive types of Aa and showed considerably clear water quality and low water temperatures. 2. It was confirmed that 19 species of freshwater fishes from each surveyed stations and 15 species of primary freshwater fishes (78.9%) and 4 species of pheripheral freshwater fishes (21.1%) of the confirmed 19 species. 3. Nine out of 19 species of freshwater fishes (47.4%) are known as Korean endemic species. They are Moroco sp., Coreolewsicsus splendidus, Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, Microphysogobio longidorsalis, Cobitis rotundicaudatus, Cobitis koreensis koreensis, Silurus microdorsalis, Liobagrus andersoni and Coreoperca herzi. 4. The four species of Brachymystax lenok, Moroco sp., Silurus microdorsalis and Coitus poecilopterus are characteristic species of the Streams of Mt. Kyebang. 5. Rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) of an introduced hardly canivorous fish will strongly influence the fish fauna of the Streams of Mt. Kyebang. 6. The five species of Brachymystax lenok, Moroco sp., Ladislavia taczanowski, Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus and Coitus poecilopterus are needs particular conservation for their survivals. 7. Salmo gaidneri and Moroco oxycephalus are first record at Streams of Mt. Kyebang in this study.

Although black stone carp(Pseudopungtungia nigra) has been found in several streams so far, its distribution is confirmed to the brooks such as Man Kyeong, Keum and Ung Cheon. These brooks have special features in common that the bottom is ruggy and shallow, thus allowing the rapids appear. This condition would be advantageous in making more light available for growth of algae. The higher density of the black stone carp population in Ung Cheon is largely depend upon the richness of fresh water green algae attached on the substratum or pebbles in the rapids. Because the black stone carp is primary consumer in brook ecosystem it wanders mainly the space between subbottom and bottom in brooks, where Zacco platypus, Microphysogobio longidorsalis, M. koreensis and M. yaluensis are also found.
