      • 안성천 유역 치리에서의 흡충류 피낭유충의 감염 조사

        In order to survey the infection status of digenetic trematoda metacercariae in freshwater fishes from Ansung stream located in Kyunggj Province Korea, a total of 42 fishes of Hemiculter were cllected by a net from the early of April to the end of the end of May, 1998. They were brought to the laboratory and examined under the stereomicroscope after artificial digestion with pepsin-HCI solution in a 37℃ incubator for one hour. Digenetic trematoda metacercariae were found from 18 individuals of Hemiculter eigenmani. The most frequently infected digenetic trematoda metacercariae was Exorchis oviformis(35.4%), followed by Conorchis sinensis(4.8%). The positive rates of Metrochis orientalis and Echinochasmus japonicus were 2.4% respectively From the results obtained in the survey, it was confirmed that Hemiculter eigenmani from Ansung strram were infected with metacercariae of digenetic trematoda.

      • 肝吸蟲 感染의 病害와 管理

        The infection of Clonorchis sinensis, one of the most important endemic diseases, has been prevalant especially in Korea.Mainly, the direct source of infection with C.sinensis, is by the ingestion of cysts derived from the raw or imperfectly cooked flesh of various freshwater fish and as well, the increase of infection rate of this fluke appears by way of the endemic areas owing to the traffic density. Such effects of the infection rate as pathological harmful and public health problems should be reduced by proper management against Clonorchis sinensis infections. The author describes the pathological harmful and methods of control of Clonorchis sinensis, with literatures. 1.Depending on the period of infection, condition of the host and possibility of hyperinfection in long- standing parasitism, pathological damages include exhaustion, the loss of weight, the disturbance of gastric intestinal tract, ascites, nausea, epigastric pain, edema, diarrhea, vertigo, jaundice, fluid in body tissue, wasting of the body, induction of the cirrhosis and hepatic carcinoma, the decrease of the labor in the rural areas and the physical fitness etc. 2.The prevention of infection is summarized as follows ; 1) The interruption of transmission and the destruction of eggs in the faces. 2) Control of the snail hosts 3) Cooking all freshwater fish from endemic areas and elimination of infection from piscine hosts or modification of human feeding habits ar a result of the public health education.

      • 초산이 회충란에 미치는 활성도에 관한 연구

        Viability rates of Ascaris suum eggs in acetic acid were examined. Eggs from Ascaris suum were treated with the concentration, PH, and temperature by acetic acids. In this study, treatment that employed the acetic acid were caused a significant decrease in Ascaris eggs viability. After 20 days at 38℃ in incubator, Ascaris suum still remained viable. The number of eggs recovered from the specimens decreased with the decrease of PH of acetic acid. The viability of Ascaris suum eggs were related to the PH. PH 5 in Ascaris eggs of the concentration of 1.5M remained viable more than those observed at PH 2.3. The results revealed that in 1.5 molarity concentration, PH value of 2.3 of acetic acid substantially had inactivated concentrations of Ascaris suum eggs. No decrease in Ascaris eggs viability was occurred from the treatment ranged from 4.5 to 7.0 PH. 회충란을 초산에 의한 농도, 수소이온농도 그리고 온도로 처리 하여 초산이 회충란에 미치는 활성도를 조사하였다. 회충란은 도축장에서 감염 동물로부터 수거하여 15ml 튜뷰에 넣고 냉장고에 저장하여 실험에 공여하였다. 부란기에서 38℃ 온도에서 20일간방치한 후에도 회충란의 활성도는 유지하였으며, 회충란의 활성도는 수소이온농도와 상관관계가 있었고 표본으로부터 회수한 충란 수는 수소이온농도의 감소와 함께 감소하였다. 1.5M 농도의 회충란 수소이온농도 5에 있어서는 수소이온농도 2.3에서 관찰한 것 보다 더 활성도를 보였으며, 1.5M 농도에 있어서 초산 수소이온농도 2.3은 회충란 농도를 불활화 함을 보여 주었다. 수소이온농도 4.5에서 7.0까지 처리한 군에 있어서 회충란 활성도 감소는 일어나지 않았다. 본 연구에 있어서 초산에 의한 처리를 한 결과 활성도에 있어서 충란의 감소는 유의성 있게 나타났다.

      • 용인시에 있어서 폐흡충 제2중간 숙주 가재 Cambaroides similis의 피낭유충 기생상

        In an attempt to determine patterns of population density of the crayfish, Cambaroides similes, and infection of the crayfish with the metacercaria of Paragonimus westermani from the stream located in Yongin city were examined from June 1 to July 7. 1997. Seventy six fresh-water crayfish, Cambaroides similes were investigated for the detection of the metacercaria of lung fluke. The incidence rate of metacercaria infection of Pragonimus westermani was 6.5 percent(5 number among 76 of crayfish examined). The metacercariae found in Cambaroides similis were identified as Paragonimus westermani based on their morphological features.

      • 反芻動物의 肝蛭類 및 胃腸內 線蟲類에 關한 Nitroxynil-Levamisole 複合 注射濟 試製品의 急性 毒性試驗

        經口投與로 效能이 優秀하다고 評價되었으며 皮下注射로도 使用可能한 2種의 驅蟲劑 즉 肝蛭類의 驅蟲劑인 Nitroxynil과 消化管內 線蟲類 驅蟲劑인 Levamisole을 選擇, 複合 注射劑에 對한 毒性試驗을 試圖하였다. 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1.韓牛, 젖소 및 肥肉牛를 사용한 複合劑의 用量確認試驗은 野外에서 遂行되었으며 體重 每kg當 nitroxynil 7.5mg 및 levamisole 5.0mg이 되도록 試製한 合劑를 投與하여 肝蛭 및 消化管內 線蟲類 94.4-98.5%範圍의 높은 驅蟲效能을 經驗하였다. 2.試製品의 中間致死量(LD50)은 約 1.20ml/kg로서 nitroxynil 및 levamisole은 각각 約 144mg/kg 및 約 96mg/kg에 해당되어 弱한 毒性을 內包하고 있음과 上昇效果가 있음을 示唆하였다. Department of Environmental Health, College of Natural Science This study was carried out to evaluate acute toxicity of an injection combined with nitroxynil and levamisole which has been known to be low toxicity. The results are summarized as follows; 1.In the dose confirmation trial and clinical field trial using Korean cattle, dairy cow and beef cattle, it was also highly effective against liver flukes and gastrointestinal roundworms. The range of egg reduction rates was between 94.4% and 98.5%. 2.In the combination of nitroxynil and levamisole. 500 ICR mouse were administered subcutaneously at 0.25ml per kg for levels ranging from 0.25mg per kg to 2.50ml per kg of each drug. The animals were after 7 weeks of age and 25gm of body weight. One mouse which died after 30mg per kg for nitroxynil and 20mg per kg for levamisole was depressed, exhibited local muscle tremors, became recumbent and died a short period after dosing.
