숲 체험 음악활동이 유아의 자연친화적 태도와 인성, 음악창의성에 미치는 영향 -집단의 연령구성에 따른 차이를 중심으로

본 연구는 집단의 연령구성에 따라 숲 체험 음악활동이 유아의 자연친화적 태도와 인성, 음악창의성에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 비교·분석해보는데 목적을 두었다. 또한 이를 통해 숲의 자연요소를 소재로 한 체험적 음악활동의 적용 가능성을 탐색하고, 집단의 연령구성을 변인으로 음악활동의 교육적 효과를 제고할 수 있는 접근방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 이에 W시 소재 유치원의 만 4, 5세 유아 75명을 실험, 비교, 통제집단으로 분류하고, 실험집단에는 혼합연령 집단의 숲 체험 음악활동을, 비교집단에는 단일연령 집단의 숲 체험 음악활동을, 통제집단에는 연령별 누리과정에 기초한 주제 중심 음악활동을 각각 적용하였다. 사전, 사후검사를 통해 수집된 자료를 근거로 이원공변량분석을 실시하고 집단과 연령에 따른 상호작용 효과를 살펴보기 위해 단순주효과분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 숲 체험 음악활동은 유아의 자연친화적 태도와 음악창의성의 발달을 촉진하고 인성을 함양하는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 혼합연령 집단의 숲 체험 음악활동이 단일연령 집단의 숲 체험 음악활동에 비해 그 효과가 더욱 유용한 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of musical activities in the forest on young children’s nature-friendly attitude, character, and musical creativity. In addition, through this, this study attempted to explore the possibility of applying the experiential music activity based on the natural elements of the forest, and seek for a way of enhancing the educational effects of musical activities as a variable of the age composition of the group. For experimental treatment, 75 young children aged 4 and 5 in kindergarten C, in W city were classified into the experimental group, comparison group, and the control group. The mixed-age group musical activities in the forest were applied to the experimental group, and the musical activities in the forest of the same age group were applied to the comparison group. Also, theme-oriented music activities based on the Nuri curriculum were applied to the control group in the classroom environment. In the results of this study, the musical activities in the forest were found to have positive effects on promoting the development of nature-friendly attitudes and character and musical creativity of young children, and the effect of the musical activities in the forest for the mixed-age group were found to be more effective than that of the musical activities in the forests for the same age group.
