정부의 중소기업 디자인 컨설팅 지원을 통한 디자인 신규수요 창출방안 - 한국디자인진흥원의 `산업단지 중소기업 디자인컨설팅지원사업` 사례 중심으로 -

디자인 컨설팅이란 도움이 필요한 기업 혹은 개별 고객에게 전문 지식정보를 제공해주는 행위이다. 국내에서는 근래에 들어 디자인 컨설팅이 디자인 산업의 신규 영역으로 부각되고 있으며 기업을 상대로 그 시장규모를 넓혀가고 있다. 국가경제의 균형을 위해 중소기업들은 대기업에 비해 디자인 컨설팅이 더욱 요구된다. 하지만 현실적으로 자금력과 디자인 인식이 부족한 중소기업이 디자인 컨설팅에 자금을 투자하기는 어려운 여건이다. 이 문제의 개선 방안으로 본 논문에서는 정부의 중소기업 디자인 컨설팅 지원방안과 디자인 산업과의 상생 가능한 방법을 연구하였다. 2010년부터 시작된 `한국디자인진흥원의 산업단지 중소기업 디자인컨설팅지원사업`의 사례를 통해 컨설팅 방법과 추진과정, 성과를 분석하고, 이를 통해 `디자인 컨설팅`의 신규수요 창출방안과 산업·경제적 파급효과를 예측 하였다. Design consulting is a professional service toward clients, companies who require help. Recently in Korea design consulting becomes a emerging sector as an design industry with great prospects and the corporate consulting service is expanding the market. Design consulting for the small and medium-sized business is more essential than big business to set up the country`s economic equilibrium. In practice however, the small and medium-sized business don`t command certain privileges of design-oriented consulting that are more accessible to big business in due to petty funds and lack of understanding of design. To improve these problems, this study investigates the efficient ways of government support`s program and a win-win situation for design industry and the small business through the case of the `design innovation project in industrial complex by KIDP` started up from 2010. The design consulting method and process of the project of KIDP were analysed to show economic effects and the possibility spreading awareness of design and leading to an increase new demand of design expertise for the small business.

국방웰니스 개념을 활용한 국방분야 전력지원체계의 우선개선물자 선정연구 - 한국디자인진흥원의 `국방분야 디자인로드맵개발` 연구결과를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 국방분야의 전력지원체계 중에서 우선적으로 디자인 개념을 적용하여 개발되어야 하는 물자들을 웰니스(Wellness)와 서비스디자인(Service Design)의 관점을 적용하여 도출하였다. 연구를 위해 웰니스의 개념과 서비스디자인의 방법론인 고객여정맵(Customer Journey Map)에 대하여 파악하였다. 또한 전역 장병들을 대상으로 한 워크샵을 통해 장병들의 일상에서의 서비스 사용 경험을 Army Life Journey Map으로 시각화하고, 이를 활용하여 장병들의 정신적/신체적 건강상태 유지를 위한 핵심물자 및 주요 사용 경험을 파악하였다. 마지막으로 전역 후 3년 이내 군 경험자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 군 주요물자의 사용자 경험을 알아보고 개선시급성과 만족도를 파악하여 물자 별 이슈 및 개선 방향을 검증하였다. 가장 우선적으로 개선이 필요한 것은 부대식당, 면회소, 방독면이며 우선순위가 가장 낮게 나타난 것은 전투화와 전투복 등이었다. This study derives design-based resources in military assistance system by applying wellness and service design. To do this, concept of wellness and customer journey map which is one of service design methods are investigated. This study also visualizes soldier`s experience of utilizing service as a army life journey map through the workshop with retired soldiers. Based on the results, this study investigated essential resources and main utility items for keeping mental and physical health of soldiers. By surveying people retired from military in three years, users experience of main military resources are examined. Issues on resources and improvement guide is finally identified by evaluating improvement urgency and satisfaction level. Highly recommended items to be improved were restaurant, visitor room and gas mask. Improvement need for combat shoes and clothes were lower.
