시장미시구조(market microstructure) 이론으로부터 추정한 PIN(probability of informed trading)과 PIN에서 유동성 속성을 제거한 AdjPIN(adjusted PIN)은 회계와 재무분야에서 이용되고 있는 대표적인 정보비대칭 대용변수이다. 한국의 IFB/KSE 데이터베이스 자료에서는 PIN(AdjPIN)의 추정 시 가장 중요한 정보인 거래에 대한 매수주문번호와 매도주문번호를 제공하고 있기 때문에, 이러한 정보를 제공하고 있지 않는 미국 주식시장의 TAQ(trade and quote) 데이터베이스를 이용할 때보다 편의가 제거된(bias-free) PIN(AdjPIN)을 추정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 최대주주 지분율과 외국인 주주 지분율로 대표되는 기업의 소유구조가 한국의 데이터베이스를 이용하여 좀 더 정교하게 추정된 정보비대칭 변수인 PIN(AdjPIN)에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하였다. 또한 회계학에서 널리 사용되고 있는 정보위험 변수인 발생액의 질(accruals quality)과 PIN(AdjPIN) 사이 관계에 대해서 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 기업의 최대주주 지분율이 클수록 기업의 사적정보에 근거한 정보비대칭 위험(PIN(AdjPIN))이 커지는 반면, 외국인 주주 지분율은 정보비대칭 위험과 유의한 관계를 보여주지 않았다. 한편 발생액의 질과 PIN(AdjPIN) 사이 관계를 살펴본 결과, PIN에서는 음(-)의 관계를 보이고 있으나, 유동성 속성을 제거한 AdjPIN에서는 유의한 관계를 보이지 않았다. 유동성 속성을 제거한 AdjPIN이 정보비대칭 위험을 좀 더 잘 나타낸다는 선행연구(Duarte and Young 2009)에 따르면, 기업의 회계정보에 근거한 정보 위험(발생액의 질)과 시장미시구조에 근거한 정보비대칭 위험(AdjPIN) 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 관계가 없는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. This paper examines the effect of corporate ownership, specifically largest ownership and foreign ownership, on information asymmetry that is proxied by PIN (probability of informed trading) and AdjPIN (adjusted PIN purged of a liquidity component) using a unique dataset of Korean listed companies. As the IFB/KSE (Institute of Finance and Banking at Seoul National University) provides information from which trade initiators are identifiable correctly, we can estimate bias-free PIN and bias-free AdjPIN, respectively. As a result, we find that the ownership of the largest shareholder is positively related to PIN (AdjPIN). However, the relation between PIN (AdjPIN) and foreign ownership is not statistically significant. In addition, this paper shows that accruals quality is not related to AdjPIN while it is related to PIN.

오사카 한인타운의 장소성과 재일한인 정체성의 관계적 특성 연구

일본 내의 가장 오래된 한인타운인 오사카 이쿠노쿠 지역은 올드커머라 불리는 과거 이주집단의 정착지였으나, 최근 이들과는 다른 이주 목적과 삶의 방식을 가진 소위 뉴커머라 불리는 새로운 한인 이주자들이 들어오면서 큰 변화를 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 자본주의 경제의 글로벌화에 따른 초국가적 이주의 증가를 탈영토화의 관점이 아닌 재영토화의 관점에서 조명하면서, 특히 새로운 이주자들의 등장으로 한인타운의 장소적 성격이 어떻게 바뀌었는지를 살펴보았다. 또한 한인타운을 구성하고 있는 3대 집단으로 올드커머와 뉴커머, 그리고 일본인 집단을 상정하여, 이들이 상호간 관계를 통해 어떻게 독특한 정체성을 형성해가고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 로컬로서의 장소는 글로벌화에 연동하여 그 성격을 바꾸어가고 있으며, 이는 곧 로컬 주민과 이주 주체들의 삶의 현장으로서 자리잡고 있다. 그 현장은 바로 상호 간의 배타적인 갈등의 장이기도 하고, 우호적인 공생적 관계를 도모해야 하는 삶의 터전이기도 하다. Osaka Ikunoku has got the oldest and the biggest Korean Japanese community comprising of what is called 'old comers'. It has changed in recent decades according to receiving what is called 'new comers' who have different aims and life ways of migration and settlement. This research gave attention to the increase of Korean transnational migration and the resultant re-establishment of the Ikunoku Koreatown through the perspective of reterritorialization rather than deterritorialization. It is argued that globalization takes exact place in the course of flow on network, resulting in social construction of place caused by the global-local interplay. This brings three identity groups of old comers, new comers, and local Japanese into co-existing in the place and gives rise to more activated relationship, which could be flexibly and relationally constructed identity on the life place. The place as locality is connected with lagre-scale globalization and exists as a life place with porous and soft boundary, on which the locals and migrant subjects come in collision with as well as in harmonous relations with each other.
